I am also really curious what you guys do for cleaning these. I know I’ll have mud and dirt somewhat regularly. I’m a bit terrified of all those cutouts.

The Vossens were delivered today. Hoping to get them on tomorrow if all goes well. My Lomax bedcover is also here waiting for me to install.

Make sure you've got all the center caps. My set was missing one and Nick said that's pretty common for Vossen

I like this a lot and have same color. Also this weekend I drove my friends rho that he put 20s on and you can definitely feel how much ride is improved. He told me that his trx on 22s rides even better and when he sells it end of year probably will put them on rho also. I don't do crazy off-roading so 20s would definitely consider if I didn't have 3 sets of 18s in garage already

I have always been under the impression the decreased sidewall causing a rougher ride in trucks, especially with a solid rearend. Is that not correct?

To an extent. With our stocks having SO much sidewall to enable off-road capabilities, decreasing the sidewall some will make on-road driving feel more compliant because it's bringing a little more rigidity. You're not having as much flex and float when you don't need it.

Now if you went to 26" and rubber band tires, yeah it's gonna feel rougher.

I will say going to 20" wheels made a massive difference in on-road feel for mine.

Appreciate it, brother! I'm getting more used to them here on Day 2. Looked really weird to me at first just because I've had the black on black look on different trucks/vehicles for so long. I will say that they balanced with very little weight using the stock Goodyears and ride great!

Yes sir, they are slightly lighter than the stock wheels. The HF6-4 in 18" are right around 28 lbs. These HFX-1 are just slightly more than that, but Vossen will tell you they are about the same. I believe the OEM black wheels are right around 31 lbs if I'm not mistaken.

I just ordered vossen HFX-1 rims for my truck and felt bad about the added weight because they are 37 pounds.
Then I found out the OEM beadlocks are 43 pounds

Cool, thinking about 37s on these stock black rims. Truck goes in tomorrow for front leveling springs (Eibach).
