Shows built, shipping hasn’t been updated on the tracker but the estimate delivery has, reached out to dealer they said will be in TX by the 27th and at dealer week or so later. Dealer can see it was shipped.
Never thought I'd want them to ship slower. Mine was supposed to arrive March 5 albeit got pushed back to March 13. I hoping it gets pushed back a couple more weeks. Had knee surgery last week and can drive for 6 weeks! I'm hoping it doesn't arrive during those 6 weeks, otherwise I'll be learning to drive in a straight leg brace lol
Yeah, it sounds like whatever was plaguing vehicles has been figured out. Sounds like a software issue that they got resolved. Probably all the trucks that have been sitting, are now quickly getting updated, and final approval is given.
It's just a wild hypothesis, but I'm envisioning this: They found a solution to one (or more) software issues, and sent out teams of people to knock out the fixes. That would explain the spike. But these guys aren't experts in logging things into the Stellantis system, so they're keeping separate ledgers of which VINs that they fixed. That would explain the back-dating of window stickers (i.e., someone is finally entering those into the system separately from the normal process in a delayed fashion).Yeah, it sounds like whatever was plaguing vehicles has been figured out. Unless we found out that they doubled the Body Vendor capacity and output, and they were actually telling the truth about that
then throw in the challenges with body vendors over spray in bed liners, running boards or whatever excuse they're using this week & we have a MAJOR Backlog...lol
Actually makes sense. They go through, get 10 to 20 vehicles updated. Then they take the list back to the computer people, and they input everything into the system. The system updates the VIN, and it's cleared for takeoff
I have came to the conclusion that RAM does their inputting with a chisel on a stone tablet.

The good news is that there seems to be a lot more movement on the older vehicles.
