2026 RAM RHO Order/Schedule/Build Thread

I did notice my estimated delivery date went from 3/9 to TBD and was told this by my local dealer today, YAAAAAAAY!!!

“Truck is KZS status
• KZS — Waiting on rail car
This status indicates that the truck has finished production, been released by the plant, invoiced to the dealer, and is now waiting for a rail car (train car) to be assigned before it moves out of the plant for shipping”
 
What does it look like when a truck is waiting day and night trying to thumb a ride on a rail (train) car? 🤣

And it probably makes sense, because there are now thousands of trucks stacked up at SHAP. Over 2,000 RHO’s, and about 4,000 non-RHO’s.

@Eighty Dealer told me today that it is no longer is JS, now it is in JB status and shows it was since 1-17-26

I thought it go's to JB body vendor first then JS to storage ? have you seen this before ?

There’s no set order when JS-storage is involved. Back early in the ‘22 model year, a ton of trucks went to JS because they were waiting for a fix for the new Uconnect5. those trucks still made it through all the other steps (like the body vendor). But in some other cases, I’ve heard of trucks going to storage straight off the production line.
Storage obviously isn’t a planned part of the process - it just happens when there are too many trucks waiting, and they run out of room.

Honestly, it looks like they might have had it figured out the entire time. A big build up of new inventory before March 1st for tax returns

Yours was faster than mine, order placed 1/2, WS 2/7. Estimated delivery 3/3.

Meeting a dude to sell my TRX tomorrow. Bittersweet.
