I know they’re shut down for the holidays, but I’m about to just pull the plug on my order & go with another truck. Same build, minus the CL color. This morning my dealer says it’s still showing “final status”…for over 2 weeks now.
Now the question is, do i suck it up & just keep waiting, or go get a different color this weekend? F*ckin hell!

I’m in the same boat. Unfortunately they were cheaper when I ordered so it would cost me thousands more.

Suck it up man it is worth the wait! 8 months I waited which isn't as long as others on here but glad I did. Almost 2 months in now and loving it.

You could always do a PPF WRAP and have it any color you want!

If you need the write off before the end of the year I get it. Otherwise, you waited this long..... Just wait it out.

Even though I canceled my order I’m kinda surprised mine has been in production for about 29 days now without a window sticker.

To make things worse, my local dealer that I dropped my 3500 off too last week (not who I ordered my RHO from) told me today that my truck hasn't even been looked at & would definitely not be ready by tomorrow, & offered no help knowing I have to go back to work tomorrow night.
So basically, they close early Wednesday, closed Thursday, Mercury will be retrograde Friday, closed over the weekend, so I won't get my truck back until February!

I'm sure this has been discussed prior, but not exactly sure how I would find it. But, should a customer be more concerned about the build quality the longer the time between build sheet and window sticker?

I would say yes. There is certainly a reason that a truck is pulled to the side and fails inspection. One would naturally assume that they will fix whatever the issue is, but I've seen evidence in the past of some pretty shoddy work just to get it out the door. I'm talking things like black Sharpies to cover paint defects, things like that. So I would be extra vigilant upon delivery.

I don't know of a way. Your dealer can look up the status code history, but it may or may not show anything useful.

My first order failed and Anthony sent me an email to let me know. It was so messed up that the vin was scrapped and I had to re-order. I just got a build sheet for the new order and am on pins and needles waiting for a window sticker. I am now waiting to see what the price will be on the new TRX and may order one of those if it looks appealing. But on the first order it was about 30-35 days after build sheet that I got notice it was a pos and had to order another truck. Good luck.
