Thanks for the update. Fingers crossed for a quick and effective solution for you. Please keep us posted.Update on my truck. Service manager just called and said the cadm (adas) module is “in calibration” but he does feel something is wrong with it, just like the example service report I showed him. He told the tech about the example service report from another dealer and agreed that’s “probably it.” They opened a case with RAM so they can see what they did last time that did not work and get this module replacement approved, unless RAM forces them to try anything prior to approving the cadm Adas replacement.
Said I should hear more tomorrow.
Glad to hear ! Crazy the lead times have gotten worse. The issue must be pretty widespread at this point.Update: just got the call from my dealer. After sending RAM all the data and numbers they requested, they are replacing the cadm/adas module. So good news! Only bad news is the module has a 45 day lead time. So should pick my truck up tonight then bring it back once the module arrives.
Glad to hear it! I've been waiting for you to update us on your situation. I'm curious as to what kind of labor is involved to replace the module? Hopefully, they don't have to rip apart the interior to do that? I'd much rather it be done like some of the other wiring harnesses that are under the bumper, etc.Update: just got the call from my dealer. I was told it was behind the back seat. There is supposed to be a trick to “fold” the back seat forward, per the service director. So, not much teardown, unless the new module doesn’t do the trick.Glad to hear it! I've been waiting for you to update us on your situation. Since they don’t have wiring schematics on the 2025 models, they have to manually trace the wires to their various signal sources. That requires some teardown.
