Hey All.
Per your request, here's a picture of the Roar Pedal installed. Note that in this picture the black connector is unlocked, showing how it looks after you pull the locking tab away from the connector body, allowing you to disconnect it. When you re-connect it, you'll need to seat the male-female ends together firmly and press that locking tab back in until it clicks. The tab on the purple connector is fully closed.
Once connected, I zip tied the black control puck (or whatever its called) to the large wiring up to the right. I plan to disconnect and remove when taking it to the dealer to avoid any unnecessary issues. The hardest part is getting under the dash in such a position that you can get the leverage you need to pull/push the locking tabs.
I've been running it for about two weeks now without any problems or safety issues on dry/wet pavement, highway/city, and off-road. Took it on a 3-day road trip this past weekend, which included a full day rock crawling up a trail from 9,000 up to 13,000+ feet with lots of ups/downs and side-to-side movement with zero issues.
It is not "perfect" because we're still working with a turbo charged engine, and the RP does not fully eliminate turbo lag when starting from a standstill. If you mash the pedal, there is still some lag, albeit less than stock, and once the turbos are spooled up the increase in acceleration is significantly stronger than stock in Sport, Sport+, or Race mode. From a stop light, if I press on the brake and give it some gas before taking off it pretty much eliminates any lag. Once rolling, there's no discernable lag, just more power sooner. I haven't been able to do a Launch Control pull with it yet but anticipate it should help shave a few tenths of a second. In Normal mode, it's like stock.
Hope this helps!
