Anyone thinking of trading RHO for TRX that is coming?

I did not know about Mark Dodge discount and might have purchased TRX because of discount

Since Ram cancelled TRX with its “Final Edition” in 2024 I went with RHO since it was very TRX like.

Now if 2026 is not price crazy for TRX (I suspect it will be totally overpriced sadly) would you trade RHO now that TRX is back?

It would be very expensive to do so

My RHO is great and I really like the truck, but I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't consider it. It really depends on pricing and availability, which we have no info on yet. I think its going to be expensive and if Ram doesn't make it widely available its going to be very expensive and there won't be discounts. There were discounts on ordering a TRX because RAM said if you want one we will build it, so there was availability it was not limited. It's TBD but until we get solid info I'm not thinking about it.

I got exactly what I wanted in the RHO....well...almost. Fuel mileage isn't wonderful and a little less than what I got in my 6.2L AT4X but still better than a TRX. Not a chance that I would even remotely consider trading into a TRX if it becomes available. I'm happier than a pig in shit planting my fat ass in the driver's seat of my Rhino every day!

Nah, TRX was out and i didnt buy it. RHO was the perfect level of fun and price. Dont see any reason to trade a 4 month old truck for some HP and exhaust sound. Im betting the TRX and RHO will have identical interiors and features.

Nope. I always said if BMW would produce an M performance truck with off-road capability, it would be my ideal truck. Luckily RAM answered the call. I prefer balance over raw power.

I also heard that there was going to be another version of the hurricane between the Cat 3 and the Cat X, pushing 750hp. Cat 5 would be a good name for it. These Hurricanes are just barely getting started. The main guys who built the last generation Viper motor designed the Hurricane.

I think it has to do with the other rumor of next Raptor 3.5 shooting for 650 - 700hp..

Absolutely not.
With all the features that RHO has the TRX will be probably over 120k, GPM 10 or lower all for .2 seconds faster, no way.

First: it is all speculation at this point, not one reputable source has confirmed TRX return for 2026.

Second: its been gone over hundreds of times at this point but IF they do bring it back it will be high 700 horse and $130k++. Why spend essentially double the price of an RHO for the SAME truck with a half second faster 0-60....doesn't seem wise unless you just HAVE to have a SC v8 and money to burn.

Third: almost everyone in here has owned a TRX and moved to RHO and love it. OR could have bought a TRX but waited for RHO because it suited their needs better. I do not see many people ditching RHO for 26 TRX if it returns. I have not seen one case of anyone going from TRX to RHO and regretting or selling.

If the price is similar to the RHO, then sure! As I seriously doubt that's the case, I don't think so.

I’d surely like to drive a TRX just to experience it, but honestly can’t make sense of a purchase of one. RHO is tons of fun and similar in most every aspect to the TRX, but at a HUGE price point difference.

If TRX and RHO were the same price point, I’m sure I’d go for a TRX, but at the price gap, I can’t find any sensible justification for needing to spend tens of thousands for a different sound. I’m really happy with the RHO overall.
