Agree. I was looking at the Rebel X and seen the RHO and went for it. The TRX and it's price point was never in my sights. The RHO and TRX both have a market, if Stellantis decides to go for both markets is a different story.
There were some periods where I was getting inadvertently a LOT of data to compare with.
I meit as well. Still waiting on my RHO I ordered on July 28, 2024. Its sitting at the shipping yard in Alabama with "MINER DAMAGE" from transit.
120k for a truck isn’t worth it to me personally, don’t care how cool it is. If it’s not a Porsche I’m not breaking the 6 figure price barrier for it. No one should honestly. If you want a TRX I think you should try to find a used one that isn’t beat to hell.
I don't think it will be 120k for a well-equipped truck. I still think a 25k price delta is where they will wind up. Could you get a new TRX up close to 120k? Probably - but you can get an RHO up close to 95k as well. My guess is these will start under 100k (95k?) and 110k or for a well-equipped one.
I have all the options minus the red trim and I got it out the door at 77k. I don’t think anyone is paying 90k for one unless you go to a really predatory dealership.
If they drop a TRX that’s sub 100k it will sell, but it’s got to be under that by a lot. There are a lot of high 90k Raptors sitting on dealer lots & in showroom floors and they are heavily incentivized.
Look at the window sticker. Not sure how that is deceptive. They all say 14 / 16. If people are buying vehicles without looking at a window sticker, that's on them. These are expensive trucks and I would expect that people are doing a bit more informed buy than a google search.
LOL - I looked on cars.com - there are actually new 2023s on there for sale - including a couple of Havoc Editions! Odd that Autotrader has zero. Anyone ever run down those rabbit holes to see if these are really still for sale? I don't know that 17 is "tons", but yeah . . . doesn't bode well for the price going up!

Where did you do this? I'm sure others would like to replicate this. Every option minus red trim would put the MSRP around 92k . So you are saying you got > 15k off of MSRP?? I'm assuming you live in a state without sales tax?? If not, you are saying you got > 20k off of MSRP? My RHO was right at 75k after a $10,500 discount and the $1,000 incentive - then plus fees, taxes, etc. and it was well over 80k - and I had 4 or 5k less in options.
My language may have been a little imprecise. If you actually made me line item it I'm sure I wouldn't have literally every single option. But I got option level 1, w/ the pano sunroof, & the protective bed + the rails, silver color. In my mind that was all of the big ticket options. I got it Mark Dodge. Yes my state has sales tax. I got the military rebate as well.
Ram had the most egregious inventory numbers in 2023... The peak was over 700 days worth of Ram trucks, meaning if you froze their current inventory in December of 2023 it would take them almost 2 years to move it all. I remember it vividly because I was telling people to short Stellantis stock. This was before Tavaris got fired. Their stock went from right around $30 all the way down to $12-$13. Atrocious CEO, there was some data that came out in 2023 that Stellantis were by far the biggest price gougers post COVID, hence why they were the most profitable car company coming out of the pandemic.
