Anyone thinking of trading RHO for TRX 2026

My language may have been a little imprecise. If you actually made me line item it I'm sure I wouldn't have literally every single option. But I got option level 1, w/ the pano sunroof, & the protective bed + the rails, silver color. In my mind that was all of the big ticket options. I got it Mark Dodge. Yes my state has sales tax. I got the military rebate as well.

If you want option level 1, w/ pano sunroof, + the nice bed, it's doable sub 80k.
That's almost exactly what I ordered for a 2026 (though in black), and I'm right at $78K OTD at MD, not counting any additional rebates that might be in play at time of delivery. People that didnt take delivery of their 2025 until around February or March of this year probably saw as much $4-5K in incentives if they managed to catch everything right.

Got my fingers crossed I can at least get an affiliate and potentially a conquest discount, if they bring it back this fall. If not... I'm still not complaining. That's still a great deal for a truck that sits nicely between the two Raptor Variants in Performance. 🤘

Look at the window sticker. Not sure how that is deceptive. They all say 14 / 16. If people are buying vehicles without looking at a window sticker, that's on them. These are expensive trucks and I would expect that people are doing a bit more informed buy than a google search.

Allow me to play devil's advocate here and say even at 14/16.....I've not seen better than 13.4 HWY. So yes....I agree that Stallantis somewhat exaggerated the numbers. And I do get to hear about how it's expensive to operate from my wife....but I didn't buy it for fuel economy either. I would LIKE better numbers than what I'm seeing but I also appreciate the perform I'm getting out of it so it's kind of a moot point.

They are very incentivized right now.

Not on the RHO... At least, not compared to doing a custom order from MD and similar dealers. Best my local dealer would do on a 2025 was around $81-82K otd for what I ordered, which wasn't too bad really if you factor in cost of delivery/pickup from dealers who would beat that price. Personally, I'm not in any big hurry so I'm willing to wait till this Fall or even next winter/spring for that price and better incentive programs from Ram.

Now... If your talking just the 23-24 lot trucks... Or even the current non-RHO Rams, then yeah... Big time incentivized!!!

The best advice I got from someone one this forum was check out Mark Dodge for buying a RHO. They are discounting them big. That’s where I got mine.

And that's exactly what I would've done after talking to Anthony.....but some of the options I wanted were no longer available and I found exactly what I wanted locally....it just cost me a little more than I wanted.

I won't be buying the TRX! The fuel cost isn't worth it for me.

Not trying to get you to buy a TRX, but the mileage difference is literally around 2mpg. I've had my TRX for about 6 tanks of gas and I'm averaging 13.5mpg over 2,200 miles or so. Given my commute (pretty ideal for MPG), I'm guessing I would be getting 15-16 on the RHO - but the difference is pretty modest at the end of the day. Yes - there are people getting 9 or 10 in their TRXs, but there are also people getting 11 or 12 in their RHOs.

I don’t know how double digit mpg would even be possible with the TRX if I got one. I get around 9.8 combined on my 20’ Rebel. I do about 90% city driving. My 2015 Ram 5.7 averaged 10.2

Bro, so happy you are lovin your TRX. Its so sexy. Its hilarious to me that ram released the RHO with the MPG as a huge selling point and also was pushed by the EPA to kill hellcat when in reality the RHO is getting nearly identical MPG to TRX. I could care less about mpg but funny! We will see how much it bugs me in the desert, i always have a 5 gallon can for dirtbikes so that will get me into raptor range territory. I averaged 13 mpg on my break in tank and closer to 10-12 mpg now that im out of break in. This think fuckin rips baby! silent assassin. I have a feeling ill live around 10-12 mpg around town and 13 on the highway. Im happy.

When I first got my Bronco Raptor it did 11MPG, after about 1k miles the best I ever got it too was 14.9MPG.

My RHO started at 12MPG, my hope is I'll break 15MPG but I've been driving it in sport mode mostly so probably wishful thinking. Sport mode is too much fun in it.

Custom mode with Sport trans actually yeilds better fuel economy over Auto for some reason.

Surely you're kidding.....that would cause the trans to hang in lower gears and engine to stay at higher RPMs.......no?

Not kidding, been talked about in past threads...few people have done this. Try for yourself.

Yeah - have to agree. I don't think the 540 hp engine with 35s would possibly get better mileage than a 390hp v-8 with smaller tires/wheels. And a 700hp one certainly wouldn't. I don't know the weight different between the trucks for sure, but my guess is the RHO/TRXs are 500-700 more lbs. That won't help either!

Less than 200lbs between the RHO and TRX, but your probably referring to the 390hp truck

Every hundred pounds is a 1/10th in the quarter :)

So you're saying I'm going to have slow quarter for no other reason than my fat ass sitting in the driver's seat...

Nope, had a trx, love this rho. The trx was thirsty ( was getting like 9mpg… been getting 15-16 in the rho now that it has some miles. Only thing that would make me even think about it is if they changed the look drastically ( which I don’t see happening ) it’s a truck, this one’s fast enough
