Anyone thinking of trading RHO for TRX 2026

Yep.....I saw 13.5 HWY over the weekend at a moderate 80mph average, which for Texas is fairly slow. My daily commute in DFW yields numbers in the 11.5-12.2 range with traffic

Yes - referring to his Rebel. I googled it and it looks like the RHO/TRX might be closer to 1,000 lbs more! Yikes.

ive had 3 f150 raptors in the past, 2019, 2023 and 2024, never had a complaint on their V6 TT
Like many, had a chance to get a trx when they werent over $100k but passed on it.

So will be sticking to the RHO, IMO best truck in the market.

For me, it depends on price and appearance. If the TRX is a six-figure truck, then hard pass. I'm having a great time with my RHO as it is. Given the assumption that the TRX will cost significantly more than the RHO and deliver only minimal gains in acceleration, I don't see the value. I stopped paying up for ego satisfaction a long time ago, and there's nothing more that I can do with the TRX that I can't already do with my RHO. If it's a $10K difference, then I will consider it, but everyone has their own internal value/performance meter.

New TRX Price - 6 figures = NFW

I STILL say daily, "I love this frigging truck!" so the new T-REX would need to be a spectacular truck to have any chance of swaying me....

Firstly i have very little confidence ram will ever build the TRX again. i believe the 2024 final edition was the final edition but could be wrong. just my opinion.

Most of us paid $65-$75k for our trucks with discounts so i dont see any reason to pay nearly double that for an identical truck that goes 0-60 very slightly faster.

When trx came out in 2021 and they were priced about the same as the RHO, fast forward to 2024 when they were well north of $100k and i saw SO many sitting on lots , i mean as i type this there are 8 still sitting on dealer lots in the USA priced at $125k according to autotrader and we have 2026 rolling out. The point im making is there isnt a huge market for $120k+ fun trucks. Take raptor r for example as well. The $75-90k price point has a much larger market and i think they found the sweet spot with the RHO. TRX performance priced appropriately.

Then the epa comes into the picture and brings me even more doubt to an 800 hp, 7 mpg truck coming out in 2026 or 2027.

Id even buy 2 RHO for $120k total instead of one truck that is nearly identical at $120k+, that way when one is in the shop you have a backup

Like i said this is all speculation, my opinion and could be 100% wrong. Devils advocate: Ford can get away with it so why not Ram?! And dont get me wrong, i would love to see a 26 or 27 TRX but i don't see it happening.
