Auto door locks?

I don't have my truck yet but have been reviewing the manual. So in the UConnect system the following option doesn't exist???

I definitely do not have that setting in my Uconnect. I am going with it is a Uconnect bug because why would they have Auto Unlock on exit? That does not work for me even if you manually lock the doors.

Has anyone figured out how to make the car auto-lock when it reaches 15 mph? I couldn’t find this option in the settings.

I work at a dealer and had my truck in service last week. The tech was doing the EPS TSB to fix the "pulling to the right" issue. While he had the pod connected he was messing around in Witech and ran across a list of functions that could be "enabled/disabled". One of those function was auto-lock for the door locks My truck as already enabled, but I'm sure if yours isn't your dealer can enable it.

Yeah mine isn’t enabled, I checked the whole settings and couldn’t find it.

It's not there. I took mine to the dealer and had them enable it as TXRHO mentioned.

Sounds like a job for Witech... Why would they leave this disabled. Is the dealer charging to do this????

Mine lock automatically once I hit about 15 mph. Came like that from the factory and I didn’t have to do anything to activate it, unless my dealer did it at PDI

Mine definitely does not and sounds like a lot of others with same thing. Sounds like can be enabled so non issue. Just annoying.

Mine locks and the worst part is when I forget about it and it catches my arm as it locks. In terms of another option that I haven't been able to find, that was on my 2019 Laramie, is keeping the backup camera visible for a short time after switching from reverse to drive.

I cannot get mine to enable. Super annoying. Glad they got yours working.

Here is the Star case I showed them and they followed the instructionss to get it to work.

Guys….for auto lock when vehicle reaches a certain speed (like 15-20 mph) the DEALER is the only one that can set that feature up. They hook up to your OBD port and use their software to enable it. How do I know? I had Mark Dodge set that up for me a couple weeks ago. Works awesome.

I have witech and mine will not enable. Not sure why it wont. Probably going to just sell it...

Yikes. Terrible idea

my 2020 Rebel did this .... was backing up the boat and opened the door to see better .... truck threw itself in park, with the parking brake on .... about had a heart attack thinking i dropped a gear or something .... hate that feature

If you are using the same witech that was used for the old operating system, it wont work completely. The new operating system in the 2025 trucks required some type of update to all of our pods and witech systems to be compatible with the new system.

Using witech II, and my pods are updated and used daily on newer than my vehicle. Just checked one with VCI and no update.
