Auto Start Stop Eliminator

Just picked my truck up yesterday and forgot about auto start/stop. I freaking hate it!

Sometimes when I hit the button, it doesn’t go off. Is it typical to need to hit that button multiple times?

This mod is on my short list. I’d much rather have a Tazer to do this, but that timeline is TBD, at best.

My favorite Auto Start/Stop Eliminator is the same finger I use to start the truck...

Hit "Start."

Hit the "A" button...

Best price too.. $0.00
I agree, but after the '23 Raptor didn't have it, I thoroughly enjoyed the end of worry or repetition. First mod install for me.

Yes. Pop off passenger seat trim, then door sill/kick panel trim. Remove blue ground stud nut. Install eliminator ground wire terminal on the stud. Unplug harness with blue connector and install the eliminator harness between the truck module and the connector you just removed. Re-install trim panels. Done!
Installed this morning - thank you for the perfect instructions!

WORKS AS ADVERTISED!

Out of curiosity, what happens if you press the Auto Stop/Start button with this installed? Nothing? Or does it flip it back to on?

The button functionality is unchanged. If you want the auto stop on, push the button and extinguish the light. The eliminator module simply gives the button memory, so whatever mode it's in when you turn off the engine, that's how it will be again when you start it back up.

Cool. Thanks!

Just saw this on the Patriot Post. "Trump EPA to "fix" car start/stop tech: One of the most annoying and nanny-state-motivated devices in new cars is the EPA-incentivized engine start/stop system. Under the guise of fuel conservation to "save the planet," auto manufacturers were encouraged to include this "feature" in new vehicles that automatically turns off the engine at stop lights and back on again when you release the brake. Well, the Trump administration is looking to end this headache of unwanted tech. "Start/stop technology: where your car dies at every red light so companies get a climate participation trophy," EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin said derisively. "EPA approved it, and everyone hates it, so we're fixing it." This is another 80-20 issue that is an easy win for the Trump administration."

By far the dumbest feature ever created in the history of history.

I don’t care what anyone says. Auto Start/Stop causes premature wear on your engine. I cannot be convinced otherwise lol
Totally agree. I don't see how it couldn't cause premature wear!

Anyone who has installed this on their RHO have any images? I’m having a difficult time figuring out where this module is. I just received my Autostop Eliminator and want to get it installed. I did this on my Ford, but not sure where this module is under the drivers dash.

The video on the website is perfectly instructed. I put my phone on the seat and followed along as I watched. Took less than 10 min

Thanks for the advice on the Autostop Eliminator website video. Once I realized he was on the passenger side, it all went smoothly. I know some videos are flipped, so I was thinking that these modules were on the driver side. 🤦‍♂️obviously that is not the case with our RHOs.
