No. Reverts back to the factory 5 year / 60k powertrain warranty. Only the original owner gets the 10/100.

Yup, just ram marketing. They know for a fact about 99% of 2026 will be delivered AFTER september and therefore they would only have to give minimal trucks the 100k mile warranty. tricky bastards . LOL.

I can’t imagine this goes over well with buyers. Maybe I’m being naive but how many people are going to be happy to find out that when they step into a dealer, there’s no 26s on the lot but somehow you need to score one before September to get the extended warranty.

If you do a ‘Sold Order’ before 9/2 you are eligible and get the 10/100. Plus, I would bet that they keep extending that offer - this just creates a little urgency for the buyer in Ram’s eyes.

Either way, this is disgusting to use a warranty as a limited-time-only marketing ploy.

Your absolutely right mine was ordered may 26 scheduled June 9th way before the announcement, and by the time it goes through the whole process, I doubt I'll ever get it?

I need to know this as well, I ordered mine 5/17 (also scheduled June 9th) and it's going to be a 2026 model year. Will I seriously not be eligible for the warranty? WTF

However, what gives me faith is:

On Rams official website for Terms & Conditions of the warranty (https://www.mopar.com/ramtrucks/en-us/my-vehicle/powertrain-warranty-extension.html) all it says is this:

"PERSONS TO WHOM THE LIMITED WARRANTY IS OFFERED
This Limited Warranty is provided to the original owner of a 2026 Model Ram vehicles (excluding fully electric vehicles) who purchased it through a FCA US LLC franchised dealer through a retail purchase."

It says absolutely nothing about order dates or delivery dates.

I would check with your salesperson. It sure would make sense for them to try and work with you on that piece, maybe they can figure out a workaround as long as the 10/100 is still in play when you take delivery.

It’s all 2026 model year Rams. Sold order, order by date, etc doesn’t matter. Just that you’re the original owner of a 2026 model year.

I have a quote from my dealer for a Max care 84 months 75 k miles $100 ded. $2639. Havent bought it yet.

That one isn’t just 2 more years and 15k - it covers electrical, power seats/accessories, suspension, AC, etc.
