CEL at 268 miles

You know I never got a copy of my paperwork but will ask my service advisor if he can either email me or I can pick it up sometime when I go back to work on Sunday since I work around the area of that dealership. So far that dealership is fast and is pretty new. It’s in the Brickell area of Miami, FL. They opened back in November for those that live near the area.

So far I’ve driven about 100 miles since I got it back yesterday and it seems to be running perfectly. Currently waiting to hit the 550-600ish mark to start WOT pulls again lol and I’ll launch it as well once I hit that mark

Glad they found a “physical” problem and not some mysterious, intermittent glitch.

Hope you get many miles of enjoyment out of your RHO. And, let us know how you like that launch control. I’ve only used it once & it really woke the truck up!

I got a CEL today at just over 400 miles. Took it in. "All cylinders misfired" "Misfired in a weird order" "Active misfire...even though the truck is not running." "There's a software update... "Your truck might have had it applied at the factory, because there is no RSU for your VIN" "We've driven it for a while and can't duplicate it." "We put a case in with Corporate." "Are you using Premium [yes]. From where? [Kroger]. Kroger is not on the list of recommended Premium fuel suppliers." (The tech was NOT being rude, it was clear to me that he was sympathetic and just sharing what Corporate has for him to tell me)

So, I got the truck back. Put another 20 miles on it, with no problems.

Doesn't feel great man...

Waiting on this truck is an emotional rollercoaster. It seems we had a good week of minimal issues reported, then all of the sudden I read about 5 major issues in under 300mi each (sounds like 4 cats, 1 blown diff). It somehow seems worse when it’s consistent forum contributors who finally take delivery, instead of new members coming here looking for help with their first post.

For me, I’m just picturing what this situation looks like for my day 1 of trading my perfectly functional truck into a dealer, and hitting CEL all in the same day since I’ll be driving 200mi+ on purchase day. I’ve bought a number of vehicles in my life, and not once had a concern for whether I’d even make it home from the dealer. Crazy times.
Scary isn't it! I have an 850 mile trip after delivery... It's making me question this purchase.

I bought mine and drove nearly 1000 miles the first day with no issue….. There’s no guarantee either way.
