Dark Mode

Same to me but the entire ui is probably 50% or more responsive so I’ll take the dark mode for the massive change in lagginess in a positive direction

Happy to hear I’m not the only one. Thankfully, my uConnect was never really laggy, so I didn’t notice any performance with the latest updates. Once I got to the bottom of the Apple Car Play connection issue, uConnect has been rock solid for me.

I am now a member of the dark mode only club.

The setting has been completely removed for me as well.

I basically had a pretty much perfect work g truck for the most part before these updates.

Really strange that my dark problem is now fixed.

My truck was an April 2026 Build. I wonder if the changed the uconnect unit itself and sent out the software update fix for these units not realizing it would change the older units that had the Theme mode settings?

I think the consensus is that the latest uconnect update removes the ability to select a dark or light theme and it is not exclusive to the RHO.

My navigation screen stays light during the day and dark at night. I want it dark all the time. So strange its no longer an option!
