There are some things that run when the vehicle is off and locked... example there's a secondary cooling system for the turbos, etc. If you have an amp clamp, let the truck sit a bit then measure both battery positive leads for current flow.

Still waiting on the tow! I called back this morning and apparently the person yesterday never dispatched the tow truck.

When I called FCA to try to get them to expedite the parts, they opened a case number and said they were going to get back to me the next day. After a week and a half of nothing, at least the dealership gave me a call with the parts finally in. For months they couldn't get an ETA from FCA. I just dropped it off this morning. Here's hoping they don't scratch my steering wheel leather again!

FWIW, I’ve already read of a couple 2026 MY having problems, and those are barely out into the wild yet.… so I don’t think that’s any kind of solution.

Made them do the jump as I want no issues with ram saying I f’d something up.
Roadside jumped it, started right up. Every service light known to man is on.

Man….. mine is only really a weekend driver. Sits from Sunday morning to Friday afternoon every week for the most part. Fires up every time but after reading this thread I say a little prayer to myself every weekend before I open the drivers side door

Mine bit me for the first time at 11,500 - so hard to say if you're ever safe. Since the new batteries I haven't had any issues so far and the battery voltage actually fluctuates like it should. Old batteries never dropped from 14.4v which I didn't realize was bad until I did a deep dive once they failed.

Update: Dealer is now no longer responding to my requests for updates. I'm literally considering going up there with a fucking duralast battery, installing it and driving it across the street to ford to trade it for a raptor. I'm paying all of this money for a nice truck and I have a fucking enterprise nissan rogue sitting in my driveway. This is insanity.

Is there any dealer near you that you could tow it to? Not that you should have to but they're basically holding your property hostage

If my batteries ever die under warranty, I’ll be having Ram replace them, and then I’ll bring it home and sell those new Mopar batteries on marketplace and use whatever proceeds I can obtain to buy some Duralasts…

So far @RamCares has been awesome in getting back to me and helping expedite a part to the dealership. It's the dealership service department that never gets back to me, even when I call to check status on my truck. Tomorrow will be a solid month that it's been at the dealership service dept. And they had they part they needed to fix it since Tuesday. I called to check status and it was the typical let me get with the tech and get back to you. But they still haven't called. I'm like you and have my eye on a ZR2 Bison that I'm considering since I might be able to actually drive it.

That always drives me nuts as well about spending all this money on a vehicle & then they give you a cheap crappy rental car. I have been spoiled by the bmw dealership out here for many years getting brand new bmw loaners and then we ran into that with wifes car of another manufacturer and they put her in a cheap rental car that wreaked of cigs to drive our kids around in
