Legitimately curious… how much actual difference is there in TRX vs RHO with tuner? My buddy put down a 3.8 on JB4 map2.

Sound aside, can you tell much of a difference? I honestly haven’t been in one.

Driven both alot.

Butt dyno makes the TRX feel much more powerful and "rowdy".

I'm not knocking the RHO because I genuinely love mine, but the TRX feels like it's on an entirely different level, regardless of #'s.

I'd tend to think most people who've also driven both would agree with me, but I'm curious to hear what others think.

Speed wise they feel the same. RHO is very fast with the tuner, it's easy to hit 100 when passing. It's just more smooth, refined, and quiet. Excellent truck if those qualities appeal to you.

It pains me to say it, but before you even drive the TRX, just hitting the start button while in the driver seat is an entirely different experience. Feels like you just fired up a monster. RHO never gave me that feeling.

My onboard 0-60 timer shows 3.7 as all time best.

On a dyno a stock Trx has 45 more Whp than a piggybacked RHO...But a Trx can very easily have a bump in power too!...So it's not apple to apple.

BUT dollar for dollar getting additional power vs just plugging some stuff in..

Looking at roughly $1200 just to be able to unlock the PCM, pay for HP tuners credits & then tuning. (On average hemi world pricing)

And then parts (first round usually a 2.85 upper, belt, tstat & 1000cc injectors) Another $1200 ish.

Right, but we have better gearing and more torque and a little lighter......you are right, they can swap a pulley and improve those numbers.

Like, a Tesla Plaid is BLISTERING fast. Does that mean it's as cooler than Porsche GT3rs just because it's faster?

Absolutely not.

I'm sorry but even if you have an RHO that's faster than a TRX, the TRX is still going to be way "cooler" to most people. Also more fun to drive.
