DiabloSport Cat-6 Currently On Sale (again 4/30/26)

Do you still need a Roar Pedal/Pedal Commander with Cat6?

Cool. Im in the Allentown PA area. Haven’t been on any off road trails yet but want to this summer.
Nice, I use to go to the City View diner and Army Navy store there with my father very often when I was a kid. Very fond memories of Allentown. Haven't been out that way in probably 10 years at this point.

Sorry guys I was a little MIA over the weekend. If anyone missed out just message me I'll get you taken care of.
I got so drunk at work conference this weekend that the president had to email me. Whoops 🤣. Apparently walking around the hotel lobby shirtless while vaping too drunk to find the pool isn't "professional". I'm sorry, I thought this was America.

@Wrinkled_Donut mind if I ask why you went with the CAT6 instead of JB4, since you already had a Roar Pedal? Starting to contemplate a tune…either that or trade for a Cybertruck.
Solely for packaging. I'd rather run one all-in-one device than rely on two.

I'm the perfect guinea pig for these tuners. If anyone's going to grenade their engine, it will be me. To put it into perspective, today after work I drove a coworker 2 miles down the road to pick up his car at the mechanic. He claimed I made him carsick.

Updates ??
Hey @Wrinkled_Donut, thanks for the nudge. Installed the CAT6 on Saturday. After living with it for a few days, I can confidently say it is legit!

For reference, I've been running a Roar Pedal since last August. I actually like the the RP's responsiveness a bit better than the CAT6 but I'm still playing with the settings (i.e., pedal responsiveness, boost by gear, etc.). The short story is that if your budget doesn't permit a CAT6, then the RP is a must-have upgrade, however, the CAT6 is a significantly more comprehensive improvement over the RP with its increases in horsepower and torque.

Here are my initial subjective observations (note that I only have 91 octane here at elevation, no 93 available):

MAP 1 (+3 throttle). Improved sense of urgency from both standing and rolling starts.

MAP 2 (+6 throttle). Wow - noticeably more powerful at every RPM. It just keeps pulling.

MAP 3 (+6 throttle). Phuckin' A! This makes the RHO get up and GO. Like Donut mentioned earlier, it's not a "rowdy" blast off the line like the Hellcat, but in Sport mode every standing start feels like a brake boosted start. It pulls hard up to the redline. When cruising at 40+ mph, giving it the gas makes the front lift about an inch before reaching speed and settling down, definitely puts a grin on my face :) It does push you back in your seat, not like a NASA moon shot, but you definitely feel it. Yeah, you're at 100 mph in no time, so you have to be careful because if there's traffic in front of you, you're going to be on top of them like "rightnow."

I haven't had the opportunity to make any 0-60 pulls yet, but that's coming in the weeks ahead.

Installation took about 1.5 hours, because I took my time. Accessing the MAP sensor was the hardest part and the instructions could use some improvement here in helping locate the sensor. I removed the 10mm bolt to loosen the bracket, but it didn't help much, so I just unscrewed the sensor from the manifold with a torx bit, allowing better access to make the connection. Simply put it back and tightened it up, no problem.

The first time I started the engine post-install, it threw a CEL and gave me a P068A error code. Further research on the forum showed that I reconnected the battery cables in the wrong order. After disconnecting the negative cables and then reconnecting starting with the main battery first, then the auxiliary (little battery), no codes and everything works great. Next time it goes to the dealer, I'll just take it off and reinstall when I get home. Now that I know what I'm doing, it shouldn't take more than 30 minutes.

The RHO is already powerful, but with the CAT6 it feels like it has way more power than you'll ever be able to use in city driving. You really have to get to "Mexico" to stretch it out and enjoy the enhanced power. It is well worth the money. I want to live with it for a few weeks and do some timed testing before making a final verdict, but based on my experience so far the CAT6 is a keeper and I'm selling the RP!

As always, thanks @Nick797 for the great price and fast shipping!

You can run 91 on all 3 maps??

You can run 91 on all 3 maps??
Yes. That's one reason why the app no longer has octane levels for each Map (Level). You won't get peak performance out of it, but it's safe.

On the Holley website, they say:

A previously undefined level of performance

Pulsar Cat6 for Hurricane provides big power gains for 3.0TT I6 powered Ram 1500s and Wagoneers/Grand Wagoneers. Cat6 for SST provides gains of 60+ RWHP and 70+ RWTQ over stock on level 3 with 91+ octane fuel! This translates to real world performance improvements with reductions of 0-60 times by up to .3 on the SO models and .5 or more on the HO applications! Users can also customize their throttle response settings within each power level! The Cat6 app also displays real-time vehicle data, and you can select between digital gauges or a strip chart.

Here's a Facebook post on the matter (if you believe these guys, which I do): https://www.facebook.com/groups/1230630848384955/posts/1591675555613814/
