I’m torn - I watched both videos and to me, outside the revs, the trail rated system sounds the same as the stock at start. Now, I know it’s not but, from your standpoint, when you start it up, is there a nice difference between stock and the TR system?

Yes, it's not a massive difference in how loud it is, but it's deeper and cleaner without the exhaust valves. It's perfect for me, as im a few years removed from the age of wanting a lot of noise for my daily, but still gives me some extra sound over stock

Trail Rated is my #1 contender right now but I'm waiting on a few mfrs who are supposedly close to releasing a product before pulling the trigger.

I see that Flowmaster has a full exhaust out for the RHO but I can’t find any sound clips for it. The guys at Superchips/Diablo recommended it, said it sounded great on the 3.0.

Not mine- another tester posted it in Faceboook. He started testing back in January and they just finished his up. They haven’t released it yet.

Borla told me they are about 3 weeks away from having it available but that was about 5 weeks ago. So I guess got a little delayed.

Absolutely love it. Don’t like the cold start but that’s gonna be an issue with every exhaust. These trucks just idle way too high. Sounds great after it idles down

It’s got to be better than the stock cold start. I hate it. The two comments I’ve gotten on cold start so far - “Why does it sound like that?” And “That does sound kind of feminine.”

After coming from the 5.7 with AWE exhaust, the stock exhaust it the one thing I can stand.

Installed AFE venom exhaust today...am very happy with sound...huge difference from factory...quiets down nicely ar about 30mph.
