Hit an exhaust shop and have them cut out the stock muff and valves. The space left is perfect for that Flowmaster muffler at the link. They just weld in the new one...easy. Best $300 I've spent on the truck.Sorry Mike, I've looked and looked but can't find it but do you have a full post/write up on how you did your exhaust?
Would like to hear it in person.....if anyone in the Houston area does this let me know....Hit an exhaust shop and have them cut out the stock muff and valves. The space left is perfect for that Flowmaster muffler at the link. They just weld in the new one...easy. Best $300 I've spent on the truck.
Cut out stock muff and valves, have shop weld this in its place.Has anyone tried the muffler FLOWMASTER FLOW FX DIRECT FIT MUFFLER? It says not compatible with RHO but it is for all the other HO platforms? Any idea why? Is it because of the valves?
I’d love to be able to maintain at least one of the factory connections and hangers if they’re actually compatible.
