First 3 days with my Forged Blue RHO. Limited to RHO.

A few pictures of my FBM RHO with black lug nuts and Truxedo Sentry CT tonneau added. Awaiting Rockblox mud flaps and window vent visors. Ceramic window tinting and XPEL Ultimate PPF on the front and mirrors in a couple of weeks.

It definitely looks more black than blue most of the time but the color is stunning. I wish the blue would show more but it is a nice color.

Yes I agree, in most lighting it looks more black/grey and in specific lighting it looks blue.

It's beautiful man! I have a black RHO on order and I was second guessing that after seeing yours!
The more I look at it, the happier I am with the color. My wife wanted me to get black but she likes this color.

I love the look of that tonneau cover. Any idea if it works with Rambar?

I can really see the blue when it is my garage.

I'm not sure. It doesn't have T-slots so I don't think it will work with the Rambar. It is similar to the Bak Revolver X4S which I think might have the slots for the Rambar. I had the first version of the Bak model on my 2012 Tundra but I didn't care for the quality and that I had to modify it to make it work on my truck. I switched to Truxedo on my Laramie and was much happier. Johnny from JustBoltOns.com might be able to provide a better answer as that is where I bought it.

What lugs did you go with? Do you see any unpainted area around them?

I used the Gorilla lugs (20) & Lock kit (4). The lugs fully cover the unpainted area but they were a size smaller (21mm) than the stock lugs (22mm) or at least that socket fit them better. The 4 lockers don't fully cover the unpainted area. See the bottom left locker in the attached picture.

Depends where and how the lights hit it and color of light
Yep, you are absolutely correct. I didn't like that aspect of the color at first but it has definitely grown on me.

The color is like a tuxedo T-shirt, it says, "I wanna be formal, but I'm here to party too."

So it's the MULLET! HaHa... Honestly I'm glad I picked it. When it's clean i get lot's of complements on it. It's a damn good looking truck.

I agree, glad we are in the same club.

Thanks for posting your forged blue rho. I was going with a 2026 build with metallic grey and the black hood decals for contrast. Really liked that. Unfortunately, that color is not available anymore for 2026. So my options are black or forged blue. Does anyone have the factory or aftermarket black hood decal? Would be interested in what that looks like.

I think @Chieffreeze was getting an apex hood decal, but I could be confusing posts as I've been down way to many rabbit holes trying to get into my next truck. My luck when i settle on a RHO, Ram removes the color I want.

Welcome to the forum. It was cdy2179 who was planning to get the hood decal from Apex. I like the bedside RHO decals but decided not to install them.

That was me and the hood decal turned out fantastic and looks every bit as good as stock.

Awesome @cdy2179 !
Also thanks for responding to my pm.
Any chance you can snap a pic of your hood with the decal on the forge blue?
I like the forge blue and will probably pull the trigger on it. It’s a little too “sophisticated” and I think a good decal can give it the aggressiveness i am looking for.

My other option would be black, but I hate the maintenance on black trucks.

They do give off that aggressive look however.

This is the closest I could find on the Blue Forged Metallic.

Thanks for all the help. Hoping to be an active participant on this forum. 👍🏽

It does look really good and aggressive. The blue is so dark it looks black sometimes and I personally like it better than the black options.

I came from a black limited (black edition). Don't kid yourself, It's dark and really not easier to keep clean. I have a ceramic coating and it's not really less maintenance. The previous Ram black limited I ran through car washes weekly, (no ceramic coating on that truck) this one I hand wash and do waterless washes so it's actually more work being I don't want to use touch car washes. I've found a few touchless washes when I'm out of town that work well but still need a wipe down with waterless wash to get rid of all dirt and waterspots from the touchless car wash.

I ran it through a touchless car wash 4 days ago and as you can see it's dirty again. It rained a little and it needs another wipe down/bath.

I agree with cdy2179. The FBM looks great but it is just as much work to keep clean as a black vehicle. The full PPF is helpful but the color still requires a lot of work. But it looks good when it is clean. 😁
