hand calculated or using the trucks mpg estimator? On my road trips, I too found sweet spot was 50-65 and vehicle would give me 14-16 mpg but hand calc real numbers ended up closer to 12/13

Using the trucks estimator. I didn’t hand calculate in my old truck either so at least in my head it’s apples to apples. I

Oh im fine with not great numbers, but that 3.32 got my attention. I have a company car so the mpg's on the weekend pavement princess arent a concern.

If anyone takes the time to read your posts it would be easily understood that you either work for ford or really hate RAM. Always with passive aggressive comments like you are informative but in reality your whole job here is to try to spread panic for others to not buy this truck. Maybe you work for a dealer and want others to not pick up their trucks so you sell them for more, who knows. Every post, every time.

Seriously though, I love my truck, it's my first RAM, never owned a Ford anything or Dodge/Jeep/Chrysler and historically hate dealers, and as such haven't worked for one. My truck drinks like a sailor but only likes the good stuff like a girl at a club in any big city. I won't sugar coat anything and can only share my experiences, which happen to mostly be pretty awesome. Just have to be real that the truck has problems, RAM needs to address them in a sharper fashion to stay competitive. I bought a first-year vehicle, knowing the trials and tribulations that come with such an endeavor as I prefer to face all challenges with eyes wide open. If you like to go full ostrich, totally your prerogative but probably shouldn't venture on the scary forums where people share opinions and experiences.

Got mine to 99 today. So the key to great mpg is to go downhill or attach a sail in the bed Also, stop and go kills the mpg
