That's why I'm still riding my 2015 Road Glide. No carplay or android auto. Not going to upgrade to the new information system as it doesn't even work with Android. There is some sort of dongle that could enable it apparently.

Like I said in post #13, that info comes directly from a Uconnect engineer.
It’ll be 7 model years with Uconnect 5 by the time the 2027’s come out (which also won’t have full screen AA), 13 radio software updates for Ram trucks, 6 software updates that I received directly from Uconnect that Ram never implemented, countless inquiries about this across all CDJR forums since Coolwalk came out in 2022, and yet here we are.
Is that indication enough?

That's just an excuse and laziness every manufacturer has it with a large screen but Ram

Same here with APPLE....

Now hear me out to all you Android holdouts...my son who just turned 29...had to have anything but Apple...and became an Android addict....but after many years and working for Verizon corporate...he made the switch about 3 or so years ago and hasnt looked back.

I asked him why the change....and he said it just works...no bugs...apps don't crash...easier to use(once he got adapted to the format) and less concerns with it being hacked. While he misses some of what the Android platform offered...its not enough to go back...

SO THERE!!!

I've been Android since the first Google G1 phone...haven't looked back. Zero issues.
Android = PC Users
Apple = Console Users.

Man that's not even close to being accurate. Almost every iPhone user I know wouldn't know what to do with a console window lol. iPhone for people who don't like options. Android for people who like freedom to customize is more like it! Us Android users should have freedom to use full screen andriod auto or not, but it should at least be a choice!

I've been having sooooooo many problems with Uconnect lately. Shortcuts not working, climate control has to be turned on everytime I start the truck, no volume, and lately I catch the screen glitching and turning off for a split second.

When I started the truck this morning it took a long time for uconnect to come up and had a loading screen. It didn't say it did an update, but I suspect it did.

But yeah, shortcuts don't work now. Even cleared and re added them. Nothing.

@RamCares I'm going to continue to bug you on this subject. Ram is the last car manufacturer without full screen android auto. Who else can I bug besides you about this matter ?!
