Help me decide ... Rebel or RHO

Mono
Woah woah woah… the rebels are actually pretty nice trucks and the fact that you can get a loaded rebel for $55k and a tiny little 4banger Tacoma TRD off road for $50k shows value for money. I don’t think you can compare a Tacoma to a rebel besides the price.

Tacoma TRD Pro is straight up same price as RHO 😂
I wasn't talking about price, just vehicles I would buy before I bought a rebel if I didn't get the RHO. I'm an offroad guy so from that perspective the Tacoma is a much better option than the rebel. That being said i wouldn't be caught dead in a Tacoma and they are overpriced underpowered soy boy birkenstock haulers. Lol

With your tastes in vehicles, the RHO is undoubtedly the move. You would regret going Rebel in the long run. Own a truck that can get jobs done (bed, tow, camp, etc..) but also has the presence going down the road.

I look at it like this:

If you're looking for a truck simply to do truck things (hauling, towing, etc.) then absolutely a Rebel is up to the task. You don't buy an RHO (or any other performance truck/vehicle) to do mundane everyday tasks. In this case, the RHO happens to be a sports car with big tires and a bed. It can to truck things.....and I'm sure do them quite well (I haven't done truck things yet) but it's meant to be Driven and enjoyed

Besides....launch control is waaaaay too much fun!!!

Well said...this is kind of like the fast land yachts of yesteryear,(Galaxie 500 with a 427, 427 Impala, etc) its comfortable, can haul a ton of shit and people, destroys things in a straight line, just don't ask it to corner better than a shopping cart :)

I bet it still corners better than my Jeep lol

I gotta be honest, I hate this thread, that is all...lol. :ROFLMAO:

Just seeing this thread.
Glad you pulled the trigger already.

I had 4 Rebels before this. I also had a GTR (mine was only 800hp but it was fast for its time when the mods were very experimental).

The RHO is absolutely the truck you want. The Rebel is fantastic. In some ways, it does a few things better for sure. But the RHO is special and unique. It’s my daily driver and I wouldn’t trade it for anything….well maybe a 2026/27 TRX lol but I probably won’t be able to justify an extra 50k for a v8 soundtrack

New Rebel looks great I have enjoyed the ones I have driven! RHO is great too. You may have already seen this

If not here is another

Well my 25 order got canceled and moved to a 26 so I have a bit more of a wait ahead of me.

Take a look at the Rebel GT it has all the creature comforts of the RHO and then some It is almost the same interior as the RHO including the center console shifter, comes with the two tone paint job and has air suspension. MSRP is around $85000 fully loaded but you I wouldn't be surprised if you find one discounted closer to your $73000 budget.

The RHO is a wide vehicle but personally I don't have a problem with that. I also own a large dually truck so the RHO doesn't feel that big. If the truck is going to be your daily driver I would seriously consider the Rebel. Personally, I'd rather get a lower tier but fully optioned truck rather than a higher tier basic truck.
