Certainly I would think not AI, burger is only a handful of people over there & Terry is always on top of stuff Customer support wise. You should be able to quickly plug it into the OBDII port and connect via blue tooth and grab that firmware level FWIW so you don't have to go through the whole install just to get that for them! (hope that helps)Installed one for the first time this past weekend and woke up the next day with dead batteries. (This is in another thread) Uninstalled and all is normal. Been in conversation with Burger and their customer service is excellent but I wonder if I’m just going back and forth with AI. Anyways , they want a screenshot of the firmware it’s on as they believe it’s drawing power when the OBD cable is connected. I will try again this weekend and send them the info they requested but your post is not helping my confidence. YMMV
Being you joined this forum to just write this, I am not sure that you'll respond or that you may even want any sort of input but...are you using beta, or stable maps to start?Sorry boys and girls... I cannot let a post like this go uncommented. I have a 2026 Ram RHO. Once I found out about hte JB4, I just had to have it. Well, here we are... 4 weeks later and nothing but grief and aggravation. When it's right, it's wonderful... but that's only about 10% of the time. The rest of the time I am limping home without boost. Terry Burger has been very patient with me, but I have none for him or his product. He guesses most of the time and sends me replacement parts that don't fix anything. If the JB4 works for you, count yourself as being blessed. As for me, I'll be in the right lane with my hazard flashers on while my right foot is planted firmly into the floorboards while trying to maintain the speed limit on my way back to the garage... again. The JB4 is temperamental junk... it's not ready for prime time.
Do you have any kind of throttle controller on the truck per chance? I know you mentioned having not much patience, I don't imagine that helps the scenario much..you have to remember these are new trucks, new platforms, new electrical architecture for RAM. We are VERY lucky these companies are releasing parts for us...and at the end of the day its us consumers that immediately look for modifications for our new trucks/cars. I know most people want proven and 100 percent guaranteed but when these trucks have really only been out for a little over a year it doesn't give much time for perfection.
