That would be awesome if it’s the case and appreciate the info. But I’m thinking I’m gonna reinstall it anyways, connect the OBD cable , send the info and disconnect the cable overnight or until I hear back. Then see if I have dead batteries. Really wasn’t that bad of an install once you can identify all the connections. I just want this to work too much!!!

For anyone keeping score, been going back and forth with Burgers ridiculously good customer service on a Friday night, reinstalled, updated the firmware and took the devil bitch for a ride. All is swell. We will see if the firmware update solved the battery draining issue in the morning. On a side note, customer service informed me if there’s any issues that they are available all weekend. I sincerely am not accustomed to customer service like this…….

I went with the Cat6 because Holley is a large, established company that seems to have their shit together. The product just seems more refined and ready for market.

The JB4 just looks like something somebody put together in their garage and it has an "experimental" look and feel, at least to me. I've also read that the support after the fact is hit-or-miss. I'm sure it's great too, I just spent my money on the one I felt was best for me.

Well, after several emails between Terry Burger and myself, we finally got some stability out of the JB4... a replacement MAF chip, a replacement JB4, the Alpha firmware with option 6 selected, and a fuel bias of 80 throughout the RPM range is what it took!

Good heads up to users. My friend noticed the versions had changed. Burger should put the bullet back in the current platform for new users to check option 6 as a reminder. Maybe you can pass that along if you are still in contact.

Which oddly enough, he tells me it’s changed again. If I were him, I’d wait to make any changes until all the stable, beta, and alphas are showing updated.
