Just purchased truck few hours ago and it died while driving on highway

Alright yall. Dealer got back to me with an update after he figured out what he can do. He’s writing me a check for the full amount tomorrow and was able to just cancel all paperwork and make it like I never purchased it in the first place. He said he’s obviously honoring the exact same deal and price will be identical when the new truck comes in. Taken care of and an outcome I’m happy with.

Sorry this happened to you! I had full plans to fly to Mark & drive my truck back to CO, with all these issue I'm thinking I'll just have it shipped, at least when it shits out on me I wont be in the middle of nowhere!

Same here also in Colorado. I want to go inspect it myself instead of having it shipped here, but also scared to drive it back which is sad we have to be worried about a road trip on a new vehicle.

I went with shipping. Truck should be loaded today or tomorrow morning, 2-3 days for transport

Hey yall.. I picked up my truck a few hours ago and truck has 49 miles.. driving on the highway engine started to shake hard under any acceleration and then 20 seconds later engine died and headlights turned off at 65mph leaving my wife and I stranded on the side of a highway, lucky had a spot to roll into off the side of the road. As soon as engine died something sounded like it was flapping under the hood, like something broke loose. Won’t crank over.

UPDATE!!! Alright yall, The reordered RHO came in.. so far put 52 miles on it.. that’s 3 more than my first one and so far so good .

Batteries are holding, so that's already a good sign. I asked them to drive it 30+ miles and they did, so now it has 52 miles on it, so that makes me feel better. No CEL's, no codes.

@frogjbm Do you have the checklist in a document that can be shared? I know I've seen it but just can't find it at the moment. The truck just got off the railcar so it should be close.
