My friend plans to update to the new Beta firmware today, or soon. New updates.

Tell him to post updates. I also have a friend interested on going Beta. He downloaded the firmware but never flashed it.

He tested the new beta today. Highly recommends. Much smoother for him. He had a lot of load on the ecu with lift and tires but the update seems to be much improved in his use.

I don't even have my truck yet, but I am notnsurr I am even smart enough to use one of these....stables are for horses, alphas are the bros at my gym and pretty sure Ive flushed a few betas in my life...feel so dumb...wtf

Don’t have one. Was just curious. I understand it was on beta. Was curious what the dynamic auto shift setting was? 0? 100? or something in the middle? What’s the default setting? You said it was smoother, just wondering if the shift torque setting was why.

Looks like it’s Beta and anything else moving forwards.

Hah i feel the same way. I just got the jb4 and all these abbreviations and terms got me feeling extra special. My zr2 i just hooked up my trifecta tune w my computer and boom, done. I need a dumb mans cheat sheet for the jb4.

Well, finally took the leap, purchased and installed the JB4 only to wake up this morning to a dead battery. Anyone else out there had this issue ? Install went without an issue, no CEL, nothing. Took it for a test drive last night on MAP 2 and all was well. Any thoughts?

I installed last week and had a check engine light initially. So i redid everything. I took the plugs off the negative terminals before i disconnected this time and rechecked all the tune connections. Waited like 20 min the reconnected negative terminals and then plug up the negative terminals. No check engine light. I drove around a bit on map 1 just to give the truck time to adjust before i cranked it up to map 2. Did the same for map 2 before i did a WOT. I did the beta version and checked option 6. Other than that i didnt fuck w anything cuz i don’t understand most of it yet. Maybe the order ur disconnected the batteries had something to do w it dying or u just got bad batteries like other ppl stated.

I spoke to Burger this morning and they said it more than likely because of the OBD connection. They want me to reinstall and leave the OBD disconnected overnight and see if it happens again. If that is the issue, what does that mean? I can’t install this in my vehicle or does that mean I only connect it when needed? Who knows.

Before u reinstall try keeping ur key fob away like somewhere in the house and let the truck go to sleep w the door and hood open. Disconnect main neg the aux neg. Check all ur connections. Then reinstall aux neg then main neg. That’s what i did. When i did reconnect the aux something was powering up and made a noise in the engine bay and stayed on even after hooking up the main. The noise continued until i locked the truck. Idk wtf it was but i make sure i lock the truck every time now. A lil paranoid? Prob but fuck it.

So my buddy just got one and is setting up now. He downloaded and flashed the beta firmware. He cant see any “option 6”. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated
