F32 on your external power distribution center.Hello there, i have a 2025 RHO and the clearance warning light just turn off, i check for power on the wire by one of the lights and no volt is coming out, can someone advise which fuse feed those lights?
Based on the posts near the beginning of this thread, F32 controls the clearance/marker lights (it's not clear if anything else is powered by that). But if you continue to read this thread, that's not the only thing that makes the clearance lights come on. The BCM controls it as well. I guess I should ask - do you have your headlights (or parking lights) on? The clearance lights only work with headlights or parking lights. That fuse only controls the clearance lights or every external light because everything turns on except the clearance warning lights?
Then the fuse appears to be working (and isn't your problem). Is there anything else we should know - like did your dealer flash any new software lately, did you make any changes of any sort, did you disassemble anything on the truck, that kind of thing.Yes, the headlights are on, when I remove the fuse the only light that goes off are the license plate led light
I assume you mean "chip" from aFe? If your marker lights suddenly stopped working after you plugged in the chip, then I'd put the chances at "pretty good" that this is your problem. So, the lights were working perfectly, I did install a ship from AFE power and then the lights stopped working out of the blue, I took the truck to the dealer to re-flash the BCM due to a recall. But the lights were already not working before I took it to the dealer
Not sure where the chip plugs in, but is there a chance you accidentally displaced a plug when you were installing it?I removed the chip to see if that was the problem and the lights are still not turning on, still no power to the cables just checked one of the plugs that connects one of the front side marker and no power there.
I'm not a huge paint matched guy but I like this a lot.Everything is on but the clearance ones
First, I should mention that this only controls the hood marker lights (not the corners, rear, or mirror markers). If that's all you are interested in switching, then ok.Hey guys, first post here. Had the truck for a few weeks and getting the hood marker lights on is on my list. I read the entire thread, thanks for all the info so far.
I came at it from a slightly different perspective. To the extent I can I try to make all my mods non-permanent. Looking at the wiring for the lights the jumper cable (mopar part number 68567784AB ) is the only wire that comes down to the truck from the hood. It’s along the hinge at the passenger side (Pic 1). It then drops along the firewall behind coolant expansion tank (Pic 2) where it makes a connection to another part of the harness. The wire has 1 white and three black (Pic 3, but hard to see due to the electrical tape).
My thought is to build a mini-harness that can go in between the light wire and the truck harness. This mini harness would include a relay that would takes an input from the truck harness and a second input from my Aux4 that I have the Amber DRL on my M&R lightbar amber DRL.
This way if the truck turns the lights on the relay would close and the lights function as normal. But if I trigger my lightbar amber DRL via my aux switch, the hood lights would also come on. With that I can latch my aux switch so the lightbar amber DRL AND the hood lights would be on all the time.
Anyone see any problems with the plan?
