Certainly! I love my Ram Rebel HD with the 6.7 Cummins, particularly the way I have set this one up. Purrs like a kitten and I've had zero issues with it for 20k miles now. Financially, I'm probably going to take a loss on a lot of the money I have put into it, (I've put just over $10k into with everything that I've done to it,) but for me, I think the RHO will serve my needs better over the course of time. I was disappointed that my MY23 Rebel HD didn't come with the digital rear-view camera, so I even added that myself with new Mopar parts. I did a lot of the stuff up front early one, but I waited about a year to put the Bank's iDash on the A pillar, along with the Pedal Monster. Wow, does that make a huge difference! You drive a stock MY23 Rebel 6.7 and then you drive mine, you would think it has a more powerful motor and better transmission in it.
Admittedly, however, the Rebel HD with 6.7 is a tad overkill for me, but that was always part of the appeal. I like the braun. I won't give my truck away, (don't need the RHO right now, not opposed to just ordering another one with Mopar off-road running boards and waiting furthe to maybe get oneo of the new colors for MY26,) but I think I can work out a deal with the dealer, who is also the same dealer I bought it from originally. Either that or just find the ultimate end-buyer and skip the dealer, if I could get the right price to offset the sales tax savings. (That's part of the reason why the court is tilted in favor of the dealers.)
I've always liked the TRX but the Hellcat motor was just not very practical and so for me, it was never a viable option for my primary driver. I have watched the RHO come about from rumor to spy video, and every bit I have learned about it has, piece by piece, convinced me that it would be the better vehicle for my needs in the long run. I didn't expect the RHO to remain essentially the same as the TRX that I otherwise liked so well. Throw in the much more practical Hurricane HO and it got my attention.
We traded my wife's Navigator Reserve (HO Ecoboost V6) in for a Jeep GW last fall and I love the HO Hurricane motor. Very powerful, smooth, quiet, and it's also very easy to change the oil. HD diesels are, by nature, a little more maintenance-intensive than what the RHO will require. No more fuel filters, DEF, or diesel additive. No DPF to potentially plug up. I don't tow much of anything and so my Rebel would be better suited for someone who would get more out of the 6.7. The Bank's mods are legit and it runs so very well with all of it together, but there are just over a half a dozen legitimate bullet points that the RHO has over my Rebel HD.
- Slightly nicer interior (my Rebel HD is really nice) but the RHO has additional suede inserts and even some carbon fiber
- Hands-free driving
- Massaging front seats
- Slightly larger (wider) infotainment screen, (which will hopefully give me a little more visibility on Google maps)
- HUD
- In the rear seats:
- In addition to being heated, they are also ventilated
- Nearly 5" more legroom in the rear
- Prefer the floor shifter over the column shifter
- 6" or so shorter, so it will fit in my garage better
- Maintenance will be easier; no DEF, fuel filters, diesel additive, and changing the oil is easy as pie on the Hurricane motor, especially in the RHO
