New 2026 Order

Late up date: as of the week of June 16th, 2025 we have officially started building the 26MY. Normally we don't start building until change over, but I should've known that nothing in the place goes as planned. So if your last 8 of your vin starts with TN then you have a 26MY

Sounds like you are way ahead of schedule then. I think of a lot of us with 2026 orders were expecting late July/ August for when they'd start being built.

Hoping they are prioritizing the TN vin and that mine is in or about to go into production. Really hoping to have my truck by fall and that we don't see lead times like last year 🤞

So, no shutdown for plant maintenance or 2026 MY detail changes?

As of right now shut down is still mid August, but who knows with them... we was supposed to go on shut down earlier this month, but they changed it

With the TN vin designating 2025 orders pushed into 2026 and the plans to still do the shutdown in Aug for preventative maintenance, tooling updates, yada, yada, yada... it is giving me hope that Stellantis is prioritizing the 2025 orders. But a lot of assumptions and I won't hold my breath until I hear updates from Anthony at MD for my RHO saying it is making progress.

This is all relatively confusing, not sure why they would start 26s if 25s aren't done, and why they'd start 26 production if a shutdown is coming?

New here?
Lol fair, but this is even more so than usually. I didn't even think it was possible to produce 26s alongside 25s. I always though there'd need to be a hard stop and change over.

Every vin that has came across my computer screen has the TN vin, which we have started running since last week. Now let me remind most that I work in the bodyshop, which is raw metal. So basically the truck starts in my department, before it goes to paint & then General Assembly. Normally GA gets the truck a day or two after it leaves my department.

From what I see most 25MY that wasn't built have been pushed to 26MY. In my last 5 years of working @ Shap I've never seen that, but also happy that ppl who wanted & waited for a RHO will get one.... hopefully problems free, unlike most of us with the 25MY!

Yes tell them to please figure out these electric gremlins before they build my silver one 😂

I’m happy I found a hydro blue 2025, but would have preferred to have been able to get the one I ordered that got canceled and turned into a 2026 except they discontinued my color.

Every 2026 Ram 1500 is a “TN” VIN (10th and 11th position in the VIN).
T represents the model year, and N represents that it’s built at the SHAP plant.

What color did you originally picked?
