Absofuckinlutly !!!!! Does anybody know what flash does this ??? Or does any flash they do update to this ?? Mine does 118 and I'm gonna be pissed if the change it !!!!!!

I explained the Ram USA website still advertises a 118 mph top speed and 2026 models still have a 118 mph top speed. Still , nothing will be done.

I have an extremely difficult time believing this. They offered $3500 for my troubles! I asked for the buy back arbitration information. She will be sending that my way and cancelling my case. I can’t believe it. Lol

This is TOTAL bullshit !!! Do all the flashes do this to the truck ??? Or is it a particular flash they do for a specific reason ??????

Appears to be a software fix intended for Export vehicles has somehow been released to dealerships here in the US. If a refresh is deemed necessary to fix an issue with your RHO, I would be highly cautious. If it were me personally I would just deal with nuisance errors and issues until Ram confirms this export software version was removed from circulation within the US.

No there's a specific flash for the PCM causing this issue. If you read up a bit in the thread, the number has been posted a couple of times. I believe the OP can tell you, too.

I was just hoping I wouldn't have to do that and someone would re-post what the flash was for so I don't let my dealer do it to my truck !!
 
Next thing we need to get answers on is why the horsepower numbers are not as they should be. I have been doing some data logging and I have yet to bump over 420 or so. What’s crazy is that I’m seeing high boost numbers at 28 to 32 on stock tune. Should have way more power than that.
If this is truly the case, it’s total BS!
I know there’s some drivetrain loss but not that damn much. Any one else been tracking this as well? I’m lucky the mph is not locked at 98 mph.

I think we’ve pretty well determined that’s simply a SW issue. That graph could show 1000hp, and it doesn’t mean anything in terms of actual performance.

The 98mph is a real issue that can be confirmed, the hp limit is a display problem.

To be honest, I'm surprised we keep seeing it. I guess people aren't as bored as me and read the forum all day

You know, I need to admit what EVERYONE knew. I had never heard that term until I came to this site. I’m slow sometimes on the uptake. 😂🤣😂

FYI I thought I had acknowledged this before but somehow 10 pages back this is still getting likes etc. I’m only guessing here, but I think I might not be alone. 😂
