Today when I dropped my truck off, the advisor put my VIN in and a message popped up from Ram that said to escalate any concerns. I’ve officially become “that customer” lol. I’m sure they hate seeing my truck roll up.

Well, I’m at the dealer and when checked in they had absolutely no idea about anything from RAMCARE. Nothing popped up from them when they entered my VIN. Had a case manager from Ram call me Thursday to tell me they will communicate with the dealer, guess not. They did tell me that a software update came up as well as something about a “speed calibration update” which I’m assuming is what the issue is ? I was hoping as soon as the plugged my VIN in everything Ramcare and I spoke about would be readily available. Apparently not. If they don’t take care of this today after wasting half of my only day off, I will lose my shit. Just saying

@RamCares won't confirm that there's actually a fix and is just asking me to take my truck into the dealership for additional diagnostics, despite having already been in the dealer for this reason and confirming my truck is limited at 98 mph...

The TSB solved this. Just take your truck in and they’ll correct it.

I know everyone’s “wants and needs” are different, as evident by the amount of folks who still think 18”+ wheels and ram bars look cool, but I’m always befuddled by the “who cares it only goes 98” comment.

I bought a performance off road truck and I use it for both. I’ll be damned if I get passed on the freeway by a base model ford maverick because Ram fumbled a software update.

If I wanna go over 98 I’ll take the r1 out. It does 110 in first gear. Can’t ride it in the snow or off-road though. RHO is for the places the bike can’t go

So what is the top speed for the RHO with the proper factory updates? I've read 98, 104, 112, 118 and 119. What is it? I know my TRX(s) were limited to 118, but that was easy to fix for ($275) Been in the 140+ range several times with my TRX. 118 is enough but I won't buy a RHO if it's less.

118 miles is the max on all RHO in United States. The ones going to Europe are 98 miles max.
What seems to have happened is that the software intended for European vehicles was uploaded on some US trucks by mistake by some dealers, but they have fix that wrong for whoever was affected by that.

I can confirm 118 !! I'm not sure if it will do more. I wasn't trying for top speed, just out for a rip one day and wanted to see how quick it was and I was doing 118 before I knew it !! And at that time I didn't know what the top speed was supposed to be so I wasn't trying for anything in particular !
