So if I give you my VIN you can let me know if my RHO is effected?? I literally have not had time to check this myself on the weekends. Iβm literally home one day a week. Thanks in advanceHi everyone,
For those affected by the 98 MPH top speed limiter reprogram, Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) 18-032-25 REV. A is available. This will be a PCM flash and should be completed relatively quickly (estimated less than 20 minutes).
If there are any questions about whether your specific VIN shows the bulletin, either we or your dealer can answer that for you. We are also working to reach out individually to each affected customer, but obviously wanted to get this info out to all of you as soon as possible.
Let me know if there are any additional questions.

I thought that by having your VIN in the system they would be forced to do it. Some dealers are just plain stupid and you cant fix stupid.Just in case there are others on here with this issue , such as me please take note- First β¦β¦β¦ 2 of the 3 dealers around me had no clue what I was talking about and could not pull up the service bulletin that was given by Ramcare and or had a fix for it. Luckily, the 3rd one had their shit together and can help me. Secondly, the service advisor I spoke to where I am taking it specifically told me that they cannot do anything if you have not experienced anything wrong with the truck. Meaning you cannot go by βword of mouthβ β¦β¦.even if it came straight from Ramcare. I cannot make this shit up. I had to tell them I literally tried to go over 98mph and it would not let me. He told me they are not allowed to do the repair unless you physically experience an issue like alert lights , CEL, stalling etcβ¦.. Maybe I just got someone who doesnβt have a clue . Just an heads up . Unbelievable. Anyways , just wanted to put that out there
Yes, absolutely ridiculous. Mine is scheduled to go in on 10/4 for the fix . Iβve screenshot most of the conversations with Ramcare so hopefully thatβs enough for these dumbasses at the dealership. Not sure why weβre the ones that have to jump through flaming hoops because of their f-ups.I thought that by having your VIN in the system they would be forced to do it. I called my dealer and they told me the same. I sent my service advisor some screenshots from RAM care on this forum directly to his cell, and he said to bring it over. He can see something but no idea yet on the fix. I am hoping between now and Monday that he is able to get this sorted out. I PM Ram care about it and no response yet.
Maybe they were looking at the wrong thing, or just thinking of TSBβs in general. These arenβt recalls, TSBβs are solutions to a problem you βmightβ be having. And the dealer only gets paid for performing it on an affected unit.Just in case there are others on here with this issue , such as me please take note- First β¦β¦β¦ 2 of the 3 dealers around me had no clue what I was talking about and could not pull up the service bulletin that was given by Ramcare and or had a fix for it. After all, problem fixed (I hope). Took it to the dealer today and did the software update. Right out of the dealer I pushed it in the HOV lane that was free and clear at the time and got it to 106MPH. Finally got the truck I paid for. Fingers crossed that this is it.Yes, absolutely ridiculous. Mine is scheduled to go in on 10/4 for the fix . Power move would be to keep it limited at 98...let everyone else get it flashed, you'd have a 1 of 1 truck. My appointment is tomorrow.![]()
