My blinking CEL fault description came back as “something something (I forget), complete electrical failure”…the 2nd part is what caught my attention.
Guess the update cured it! Sorta…

I am getting an new ECU put in, as my original one kept throwing codes. I am hoping when they program it, I am having this issue fixed. I didn't have the HP gauge issue, just the 98 mph limited.
Please keep me posted. Mine has the exact same issue but I don’t see it on the dash.
Only a separate note;
Last night i tried to push the truck hard and died at 97! Damm it!! I forgot I can’t go faster. Sucks having a accord smoke you just because your truck is neutered.
It’ll be interesting to see what happens. My guess is, if the software isn’t available yet, you’ll still have a 98mph top speed

Yea the dealership called and the guy programing the ECU said that it would be the same program and that I have to wait for the corrected download. The dealership opened a case with RAM and will keep me posted. Damn it!!!!

Looks like a member on Facebook had his truck flashed with the correct software today. Top speed is fixed.

Haven't really been following this thread too much, but if it helps at all- my 2026 does not have the 98 limiter.
That’s good. It only happened if you had repairs done that required a reprogram
