There seem to be some unlucky people on this forum.I've been buying 2 new vehicles every 3-4 years for over 30 years. Only 1 has ever been in the shop overnight. My 2022 Tremor towed in thurs morning and picked up Friday with new batteries.I"ve had Recalls fixed sure, seemingly unfixable issues = never.I tend to believe them, we have a history with them and they have been consistently transparent and proactive. We have had problem free vehicles from them but more importantly, when there is a problem, they have responded in a prompt and reasonable manner. I love this truck for the little time I have been in it. We have vehicles from all makes and there have been issues with every brand. We bought a new GMC at the same time as the RHO and it broke down first time we took it out and has been in the shop for a month. You pays your money and takes your chances.
Unhappy customers seek out the forum to find out if others are having a similar problem, which leads to an artificially concentrated population of those with issues. We also tend to talk more when we have a problem than when everything is fine. There seem to be some unlucky people on this forum.I've been buying 2 new vehicles every 3-4 years for over 30 years. Yup. A T-shirt and a hat. Nothing I would wear in public as it’s not my “style” but it was a nice gesture.Care packge arrive yet Kyle?
Damn, how about an engineer and flash tool?? When's that coming??Yup. A T-shirt and a hat. Nothing I would wear in public as it’s not my “style” but it was a nice gesture.

Well better then what I got. Contacted my old case manager by email and 3 messages and crickets. Tried to file a claim with customer care and it got canceledYup. A T-shirt and a hat. Nothing I would wear in public as it’s not my “style” but it was a nice gesture.
Good question. Strange that it’s not happening at the dealer level. At the time my truck was flashed, that was the only available software. So if that hasn’t been resolved, this will likely happen again. BUT if it has been resolved and they now have the correct software, what’s stopping the customer from going to the dealer for a new flash.Damn, how about an engineer and flash tool?? 100 extra hp for your troubles? Maybe a MOPAR branded tuner?Good question. Strange that it’s not happening at the dealer level. At the time my truck was flashed, that was the only available software. What else is this engineer changing.![]()

In all fairness, Anthony, you really can’t claim 1/650 if you’re not the dealer where service is occurring on those 650 RHOs.This is a valuable thread, that shows a problem, and resolution - I'd hate to see it get locked if we resort to name-calling.
That said, it's easy to look at the thread with 500 comments, 20+ pages, and thousands of views - and greatly overestimate the frequency of this particular problem. That does not diminish the value of those of you who ACTUALLY had this happen, and I look forward to seeing it get resolved (but remember, as Billy Strings once told me - only break one law at a time). Sometimes the venue for discussion lends itself to bias, and then confirmation bias. If you ask everyone at the airport bar how they think the airlines are doing for timeliness, imagine the answer you'll get (with the on-time-passengers already boarded, or at least most of them). For ALL the RHO's we've sold, I have had one customer report that this issue happened to them - after having service work done at another dealership. I'm not good at math, but that's 1/650+. There certainly may be more we don't know about.
These are incredible machines with great complexity, and we ask them to do the incredible things for which they were designed. They are great big hunking pieces of engineering, technology, and materials working at 100mph+ in groundspeed while computing at a level that was unheard of only a few years ago, and we pay high prices for them. Ram catalogs every single warranty claim (they pay!) which is their data source, and makes continual improvements. They don't wait for an arbitrary birthday (model year) or announce every improvement made (unless a recall is issued).
The only "trend" we saw was the frequency of dead batteries... but that peaked LAST August (note: before RHO production) and was across multiple trim levels on 1500s AND Grand Cherokees - so it wasn't just a truck problem OR hurricane, it was wider. That has subsided WAY down to a level that wouldn't even make a water cooler convo. Zero? Never, we touch too many vehicles in a month for anything to be zero. But by and large, our customers have had fantastic experiences with the RHO so far. While many live far away and we wouldn't see for service, we DO hear from past customers plenty on their overall enjoyment/issues from time to time.
I guess to sum it up - be nice to each other, be nice to your trucks, and enjoy washing it driving it looking etc.
(then again, I'm biased aren't I)
Yes that's why I said "There certainly may be more we don't know about." In the IMMEDIATELY following sentence. In all fairness, Anthony, you really can’t claim 1/650 if you’re not the dealer where service is occurring on those 650 RHOs.
I’ve bought my past few vehicles out of state, and I haven’t once reached back out to one of those dealers for any of the minor or major problems I encountered afterwards. I go to my local dealer for service at that point. By that math, all of my dealers could claim the vehicles they sold me never had a problem… but that’s just not the case.
Only Ram really knows the distribution. I imagine it’s relatively low, but I highly doubt any of these issues are 1 out of 650.
Okay, but you also said “I’m not good at math” IMMEDIATELY before it, so I wasn’t sure which to believeYes that's why I said "There certainly may be more we don't know about." In the IMMEDIATELY following sentence.

I was told within a month or so this past week. Not sure about previous updates but I do know that this one got noisy for Ram. I want to be confident that this will be different but… time will tell.Anyone get notified that the “fix” for the 98mph speed limit is ready to be installed?
I’m not holding my breath. The last software “fix” that I was promised in early January ‘25, is still non-existent.
They did change it from an engineer coming to you, to being able to get it done at the dealer. The software is ready, not sure when it’s being pushed to the dealers.Anyone get notified that the “fix” for the 98mph speed limit is ready to be installed?

I did the same about a month ago after my oil change and asked for the same fix with the locks but struck out. Was your dealer able to get them to work?I took my ‘25 RHO to the dealer for an oil change and to turn on the “rolling door locks” since mine came with them deactivated.
They said they also flashed it to the updated software.
I immediately tested it out at WOT and, on a certified drag strip of course, I was able to go over 100mph no problem and no change in acceleration.
Just throwing it out there since some of these threads made me nervous to even visit the dealer.
