New info on 98 mph top speed.

How do we make sure we get on this list? I opened a case about this, but RAM customer care won't even talk to me because my RHO is not at a dealership. When I ask for a supervisor, they state they are not allowed to escalate my call and then forward me to the dealership.
They have a VIN list of all 120 ish affected trucks. They will contact you.

I echo what Kyle just responded to you. Someone will reach out. I have gone through the exact same experience and steps as you have.

Manufactures don’t just openly admit their product is having issues, unless there is a solution.

Although my truck has been problematic, I’m willing to bet there are more trucks with no issues, than trucks with issues.
That sure isn't much to brag about. It seems many want to ignore the fact that these RAM problems seem to be much bigger that minor recalls. I'm unaware of any competitor pickup that has anywhere near the amount of Rams that are in the shop repeatedly with no fix in sight. That's the problem, they can't fix them.

I’m not saying it’s a good thing, I’m just saying how it is. All new vehicles are junk in my opinion. Every single one. Mass produced with parts from vendors with the lowest bids to maximize profit. It’s not about building quality products, it’s about making money for shareholders.

Ford has the most recalls out year to date btw. Gm can’t build a 6.2 V8 that doesn’t pop, and Toyota just had a massive engine recall.

We either pick what our parents drove, or who ever has the coolest color. Manufactures will continue to build garbage, and raise prices and do you know why? Because the consumer keeps buying and the world keeps turning.

So...you're out then, right?

Shit or get off the pot. Seems your mind is made up yet you still hang around to post this in every thread you can find.

There is no way I'm buying unless or until problems get resolved .I

t's people like u who won't admit the problem and just want to cheerlead for the RHO.I'd bet my posts are much more valuable to people who dont want to get stuck with a lemon.

8k miles, zero issues...the fack are you on about??

Only people's experiences with problems are valid. My 11k with no issues is just propaganda, as are yours.

If dude gives me his email I promise to send him a note once all of the issues on every single truck are resolved. Then he can just go away until then.

Not 1 issue? You must be one of the very few. Good for you.
Bro, you're here arguing with ACTUAL owners...you don't even have the truck yet! You have got to be the most angry non-owner I've ever seen...you complain about Ram like you already have one that's been in the shop for months. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I like looking at google reviews of my favorite restaurants. There’s ALWAYS bad ones, even though I’ve never had an issue. That’s a good way to look at what’s going on here. Cant please everyone.

This is a valuable thread, that shows a problem, and resolution - I'd hate to see it get locked if we resort to name-calling.

That said, it's easy to look at the thread with 500 comments, 20+ pages, and thousands of views - and greatly overestimate the frequency of this particular problem. That does not diminish the value of those of you who ACTUALLY had this happen, and I look forward to seeing it get resolved (but remember, as Billy Strings once told me - only break one law at a time). Sometimes the venue for discussion lends itself to bias, and then confirmation bias. If you ask everyone at the airport bar how they think the airlines are doing for timeliness, imagine the answer you'll get (with the on-time-passengers already boarded, or at least most of them). For ALL the RHO's we've sold, I have had one customer report that this issue happened to them - after having service work done at another dealership. I'm not good at math, but that's 1/650+. There certainly may be more we don't know about.

These are incredible machines with great complexity, and we ask them to do the incredible things for which they were designed. They are great big hunking pieces of engineering, technology, and materials working at 100mph+ in groundspeed while computing at a level that was unheard of only a few years ago, and we pay high prices for them. Ram catalogs every single warranty claim (they pay!) which is their data source, and makes continual improvements. They don't wait for an arbitrary birthday (model year) or announce every improvement made (unless a recall is issued).

The only "trend" we saw was the frequency of dead batteries... but that peaked LAST August (note: before RHO production) and was across multiple trim levels on 1500s AND Grand Cherokees - so it wasn't just a truck problem OR hurricane, it was wider. That has subsided WAY down to a level that wouldn't even make a water cooler convo. Zero? Never, we touch too many vehicles in a month for anything to be zero. But by and large, our customers have had fantastic experiences with the RHO so far. While many live far away and we wouldn't see for service, we DO hear from past customers plenty on their overall enjoyment/issues from time to time.

I guess to sum it up - be nice to each other, be nice to your trucks, and enjoy washing it driving it looking etc.
(then again, I'm biased aren't I)

Hey Anthony, Your response is very welcomed and encouraging.I am very good at math and the story your telling is very important to whether or not I buy.
Can you comment on the frequency of the non battery electrical problems keeping trucks at service dept for weeks at a time? I can buy most anything I want and I really like the RHO.
I've just been worried that the seemingly unfixable issues were more wide spread. Now maybe not so much.
Thanks for that info.Let me know when Serrano Green is available.

This was better, much more elegant way to say what I said. Thank you. And yes, only about 120-130 trucks affected.

I stand by my original comment, that is, all vehicles are mass produced junk produced for profit. Some manufactures handle it better than others. Pick what you like, hope for the best, and drive it! 🙏🏻

Coming from a Raptor myself and my buddy with a Tundra, I 100% agree with you. Take your pick and hope you are not in the small % of defective parts that cause all the issues.
