Would I do it all over again: 100% Yes.
I LOVE this truck. I love the way it rides/drives. I love its presence and stance.
The interior is far superior to anything available in the rest of the truck market.
The Raptor interior is plastic garbage compared to the RHO. And Chevy/GMC don't offer a Trophy Truck variant. (GMC's regular truck prices are nucking futs too).
Toyota has lost its frigging mind and decided that we want a hybrid sports truck (we don't), so our options are limited.
Yes, I have a lemon Law case.
Yes, it sucks that I had to do this.
BUT....
When this case is over, I'll have twice the $$$ I used as my down payment on this truck. This is a great financial place to be in.
Will I get another RHO? It's not 100%, but there's a great chance I will.
There's a small window of other (older) vehicles I'm considering, but these would be VERY specific models.
There's an even smaller window of new vehicles I'm interested in.
Why?
After listening to my attorney, ALL vehicle manufacturers are having serious quality issues with their new offerings, with a significant percentage of these issues connected to vehicle electronics.
I watched a video of a 40+ year dealership service manager explain it this way:
He said most new vehicles have become as technologically complicated as the aircraft we fly in.
The difference is the modern jet is swarmed with technical experts on a daily basis so the aircraft doesn't fall out of the sky. Our vehicles do not receive the same level of scrutiny.
My answer is still yes; I would have bought my RHO anyway, and there's a good chance I'll buy another one after this nightmare is over.
