Odometer flashing

I've never experienced this one. It fixed itself after parking for a while and starting it up again. Just odd.

It has to do with your vehicle lost proximity...my truck did this one time at 1200 miles, dealer told me its when the Vehicle is losing connectivity to the key fob or modules...

I’ve seen various vids suggesting any sensors that lost communication causing the temporary flash.

Mine is doing it right now. Wife is driving we made a quick stop and I went in a place with the keys in my pocket. Just looking over headed down the interstate and the odometer is flashing. Why couldn’t it stop counting miles while it’s at it?

Mine did it once last week. Along with the Uconnect having an issue with loading at start up on occasion. Those two things have been happening since I changed the batteries 4 weeks ago. Never had an issue until 13500 miles. Now im at 14000, batteries died, glitches.

Just made a fuel stop. Shut it down restarted, no more flashing. I still think it would have been nice if it stopped counting miles.

The odometer on my 2026 Bighorn loaner truck has been flashing since they gave it to me with 20 or so miles. Currently have 1300 and it's still flashing. I put a small piece of electrical tape over it and the flashing is completely gone. Try it, you'll like it.
