I have not seen anywhere that this option ever became available.

With all of the electrical issues these trucks can have, may have been a blessing in disguise.

Yeah...

With all the electrical gremlins, the big inverter would have me worried about "Truck Go BOOM!" when we hit the Start Button.

From what was told early on it won’t even be an available add-on later either. So aftermarket path is the only way to go really.

Any recommendation from anyone on an aftermarket set up? Just picked up my truck 4 days ago and been on an 800+ mile road trip so far and was disappointed that there are no external power options in the bed. Out side of that love the truck! Had it on the rocks and trails out side Bend and this morning on the dunes north west of Rexburg.

The HD rams just opened it up for ordering, 2.4KW on those, which may bode well for an aftermarket potential.
