Installed Gen3 MX4 earlier today and it was pretty easy. Install took about an hour including clean up. This model is definitely a step up from previous versions in overall quality, fit, and finish. I’m in Florida so look forward to see how it does with the rain and keeping water out. I know it’ll have some water intrusion which I expect to be mainly at the tailgate on the corners. Also, they even sent some extra parts like replacement corner caps since they can wear over time. But, happy with the look and installation process. Look forward to seeing how it holds up.

Love my BAK Revolver X4S. I’ve always ran with older gen MX4 on previous trucks. Having the back window view with the cover all the way rolled up is great. But honestly, I wish I would have waited for this Gen 3 MX4 because I always use the rear view camera which sees over a fully folded up rig…I will also say, love the 1 handed operation of my X4S and the fully flush, single piece look in matte finish is another win.
