When you take into account the amount of RHOs there are, and the actual number of people with persisting or catastrophic problems, the numbers are actually in Ram's favor...and on par with other brands. I don't know why we keep having to say this, forums are a hotbed of complaining and problems...it's the first place people come to bitch when something goes wrong. The narrative will always be skewed unfavorably for the specific vehicle. There are an exponentially larger number of silent owners with no issues. If I had let this forum scare me off, and it tried, I'd have missed out on my favorite truck ever...a few interesting quirks aside, it's been amazing!!
All these posts do, is serve to reignite the negative narrative for confirmation bias.
If people really need this info, there are a plethora of threads that already exist, use the search function.
Idk man theres definitely truth to this, but I've been on forums my whole adult life and can't recall a single one where 8/10 threads are about problems people are having. I've also owned 10 new vehicles and never had remotely the amount of problems I've had in this one. Not even close.
To act like the amount of problems people have here is totally normal is disingenuous in my opinion.
Can't blame people for discussing this, blame Stellantis. People are upset their expensive ass trucks are all fucked up. I'm upset that half the time I get in my truck something goes wrong or is weird. I'm tired of driving with no gauge cluster. Some people are okay with this and that's cool, but a lot of people aren't and that's cool too. The more the word gets out that these are cluster-fucks, the more incentive Ram has to fix them.
It's awesome yours is fine but a lot of people have had endless problems. Try to put yourself in their shoes.
Sticking our heads in the sand and telling everyone to use search isn't going to help. I know it gets annoying but it Is what it is. Stellantis cut a bunch of corners, cheaped out with vendors, and released a totally shitty, unfinished product and people are going to talk about it.
You're probably right about it being on par with other brands, though.
