Thanks for clearing that up. Nothing that necessitated taking it to the dealership.

Necessitated, no. The truck has always went into drive and moved. I'm sending Stellantis their award for manufacturing excellence as we speak.

I bought my RHO 6 weeks ago and other than a glitch here and there this truck has been flawless. Granted I only have 1500 miles on it but the truck has been awesome.
I try coming here to learn about the RHO and I end up walking away depressed as hell.
I feel for everyone having the issues they are having but I think for my sanity I need to limit how often I visit this site. Happy Thanksgiving 🇺🇲 everyone!
You beat me to this post. Todays posts were very depressing as I thought this forum could be bit more fun and less negative.
Well definitely NOT today.
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone and hope for better days for all.

Ok…don’t bash me for test driving a VW Tiguan SEL R-Line Turbo. I liked it! I know this seems unrelated to this thread, but bear with me.

Sure, the VW’s ride was a bit on the stiff side. The brake pedal is strangely inconsistent. But, the interior is on-par, maybe nicer, than RHO. The driving experience was very Germanic…great steering & throttle response. Solid feeling unibody chassis. Overall, a fun (on pavement) ride.

So, I made the mistake of finding a Gen3 Tiguan forum. It read a lot like this forum. Electronics glitches up the wing-wang. A few mechanical failures. Talk of Euro Lemon Law cases.

Ben Hardy, an automotive YouTuber, recently posted a video about his problems with Stellantis Group vehicles (Jeep & Ram), along with Ford & others. His conclusion: He currently only trusts Toyota/Lexus vehicles.

Stinks, but it seems all the “fantastic” features in modern vehicles are making them unreliable. Don’t know what the future holds or what I’m buying next.
Which is crazy talk because Toyota currently has the least reliable truck on the market with the Tundra.

Don't let it bother you. It's just an online truck forum. This is what happens when people go online. We'd probably all be friends in real life. If you think this is bad, avoid Facebook and Reddit at all costs 😂 .

Also avoid BMW forums LIKE THE PLAGUE haha. If you wanna see a real negativity shit show, cruise those for about 5 minutes.

Can try to browse individual forums and just avoid the "RHO Problems and Issues" one. Still plenty of other good postings going on. This is just the stuff that clogs the home page up. Once Ram does get a hold on all these issues, the posts will eventually stop. It's a brand new platform so this is to be expected.

Happy Thanksgiving!

While I don’t agree about BMW…they keep most of their component sourcing in-house, which avoids the glitchy crap we talk about here. BMW owners, generally speaking, ride their steeds hard & put them away wet. That’s where most of their problems arise.

I DO AGREE this forum has lots & lots of helpful, funny, witty and cool members! If I ever find a suitable replacement for my RHO, I’ll still lurk this forum.

You wanna walk away depressed, read the Gen 3 Tiguan forum.

I will have to change my vote after my truck goes in on Monday....I doubt if I will get her back quickly!

Yes, could you please let me know who I need to contact to get reimbursed for the tow truck fee? I emailed my case manager earlier this week and have not heard back.
Hi again! Please send us a private message with your case number for us to review regarding your reimbursement concerns.

Quick poll to see how many days most RHO’s are spending in the shop / service.
I’m currently waiting to get mine in, it’s had “service the trailer brakes system “ almost since it left the dealership. Has anyone else had this issue?

I’ve had it once or twice. But haven’t had it happen in a few months.

When you take into account the amount of RHOs there are, and the actual number of people with persisting or catastrophic problems, the numbers are actually in Ram's favor...and on par with other brands. I don't know why we keep having to say this, forums are a hotbed of complaining and problems...it's the first place people come to bitch when something goes wrong. The narrative will always be skewed unfavorably for the specific vehicle. There are an exponentially larger number of silent owners with no issues. If I had let this forum scare me off, and it tried, I'd have missed out on my favorite truck ever...a few interesting quirks aside, it's been amazing!!

All these posts do, is serve to reignite the negative narrative for confirmation bias.
If people really need this info, there are a plethora of threads that already exist, use the search function.
EffinA Mickey, I'm literally hiding under my bed waiting for my rig. Chased a canyon green 500 miles away and it lands tomorrow...but all of this negative chatter is making me look over my shoulder. I'm FIDO, and will again be FIDO, but yeah, agree with you on the forums being inherently negative. Clearly they serve a role, but I hope to simply be here for tips and things like that
