Positive owners experiences

I’ve been holding off posting in fear I will jinx myself lol…..

Zero issues. 1600 miles. 1st oil change. Checked fluid levels and batteries. Holding steady at 14.2v when driving. 13.6 mpg average. No rattles, squeaks, odd noises.

I absolutely LOVE this truck. To me it is the right mixture of practicality, brashness, luxury, simplicity wrapped in beautifully shaped metal. The only things I would change about it are exactly what I’m currently changing. I feel a slight bit of guilt due to so many having issues with their RHO because I want everyone to have the same experience I have.

Don't feel any guilt...

Everyone here understands that vehicles are as diverse as us damaged humans who put them together.

Some will have minor problems, others will be overwhelmingly terrible. But we are happy for the friends who have no problems.

With whopping 856 miles on the odometer and 4 days short of a month of ownership, I am loving this truck. My only complaint at this point is it won’t stop raining long enough for me to wash it but fortunately the Hydro Blue hides dirt really well.

This truck has more power than any vehicle I’ve ever owned. It still has the functionality of a truck and it looks awesome.

Picked mine up December 6th, almost 10K miles, and extremely happy with the truck every time I drive it.

Unfortunately I took some rocks to the windshield and am getting it replaced tomorrow. Only very minor issue is the clock doesn't recognize Northwest Indiana as CST and doesn't adjust until I cross into Illinois.

10k? 👀

6129 miles, on mine I recently just finished a 3845 mile trip back to MO. Brought back to Montana, about half a bed of wood for grilling. Cherry, Oak, and Hickory. While I was there I hauled a lawn and garden tractor my Pa, had bought to his house. Got all most 15 mpg. on the road, if I didn't drive it like a 15 year old... which.. admittedly I often DO! average just like others have stated. 13.5 to13.9 m.p.g. Driving back through the feed lots of Kansas, and Colorado. not a bit of smell got into the cabin. So cabin filters and A.C. love it. (wasn't so nice in an eighty two trans am with no a.c. a few years ago!) Power is nice, could use more.. (my ktm 1290 has pretty much spoiled me for acceleration.) This is my daily driver, and I use it for light truck things. it replaced a 2010 with a 5.7 honestly the ONLY thing that was better on the 2010 was engine sound. this half a diesel has more power more torque better fuel economy, better ride and the rear seats recline ;) the ONLY issue I have had is the check engine light has come on twice now. Both times the dealer said it was a rich fuel at idle. both times it has just gone away in a day or two. the sucky part is.. sigh... one can't remote start the R HO if there is a check engine light on.
Hopefully my pics upload and speak for them selves how much I am loving this truck!! oh, i'm am starting to get used to folding the mirrors in every time I go to bank drive through. car was, a garage... etc.

For the CEL: you can get a cheap code reader to check codes and clear out the CEL so as not to inhibit your remote start.

Over 800 miles on the odometer since my last Ram service “staycation”, so decided to trust it to do some of the things I intended when purchased.

So, took it up to Brown’s Trail on Four Peaks Mountain in east Phoenix….went the long, hard way…17 miles of brutal terrain…RHO took it like a champ! Caught a branch on the right side around a tight turn (it’s a wide beast) & engine ran a bit hot at times, but it was an overall fun experience. Noted a dash message, something about “Service 4WD System” that flashed for a moment, then cleared. Might be low on transfer case fluid from the factory. Will have the fluid level checked later this week.

Then took it up to UT & hit the deep sands to a slot canyon. Aired down, 4WD low, locked rear diff…RHO was unstoppable! Too much fun!

Was almost a perfect trip until the odometer started blinking. I’ll see what the dealer says when they check the transfer case fluid.

I have an OBD reader, but it is a new truck, and at the least I want dodge to know the light is coming on.

Mine was low from the factory, the transmission was good on fluids though..

I ordered my forged-blue in September 2024 and finally got it first week of may 2025. I never posted to any thread but like many others followed all the negative posts and lurked the forums while contemplating my purchase for the many long months of waiting. Well.. I’ve been driving for almost a month of city and highway miles now with over 1000mi total and it’s the best purchase and vehicle I have ever driven! Hopefully this post doesn’t jinx me, but love my RHO. It’s so much fun to drive, luxury inside, and puts a smile on your face. Just went through the out-of-state purchased CA registration process, passed smogged, never any CEL or gremlins. There’s so many like me who never post but love their trucks with no issues. 🤞🤘🍻

600 miles and i fucking love this truck. Its so fast, sounds great, interior is to die for. i have gotten so many compliments in the 1 month i have owned it. The red is a head turner. Even had some granola chick at the local gas station driving a bumper stickered coexist subaru go out of her way to tell me how much she likes my truck. RHO bringing Americans together. LOL.

Did my first 2 launches in launch mode today on some mexican backroads, I was grinning ear to ear. Def hit 100 mph. The power is excellent and AWD hooks up sooo good.

I got to thinking to myself, this is the best offroad performance truck out there, especially for the money. So refined, so fast, so luxurious. Only contenders it has are TRX and Raptor R at nearly double the price for the same performance. Nerds will compare the regular raptor but we all know that have had them, its not even in the same galaxy in any metric.

Hit over 1k miles and I love this truck. It beats my Braptor in every way imaginable. It absolutely rips & I haven't even tuned it yet (I'm planning too after a few more months of ownership just to make sure my truck doesn't have any gremlins pop up before potentially voiding the warranty).

8k miles...love the RHO...only complaint I would have is some times a little sluggish infotainment right at vehicle start up. This truck is the ultimate swiss army knife right now.
Thanks C Tech. Your YouTube channel is what turned me on to the RHO. Are you still happy with the Timber Grove set up for both hauling and day to day driving?
