RAM RHO Behind the grille auxiliary light kit πŸ‘Œ

Plenty of cheaper options out there in the wild. you don't have to buy nachos or baja designs or triple R's. That's just what I have used and installed.
Thanks, I have been looking at a few of them in different stores and online. I did order the M&R 23" Pro lights since they had the 15% discount. I also picked up their reverse lights at 10% before that (their 15% discount came out right after I ordered). I was backing down my grandsons driveway the other night and couldn't see sh*t with the OEM lights. Almost hit a tree. If I do get behind the grill lights I'll be looking to get that windshield washer reservoir upgrade.

Back in stock, ready to rock!

Anyone wire these up yourselves yet? Just looking for a way to grab my running light circuit trigger and high-beam circuit trigger. It appears these new headlights may be controlled via canbus so the triggers may just have to come from aux circuits for now... It would help if I could find a wiring diagram, super familiar with ford vehicles which control all outputs via a BCM and they even have a handy upfitter pigtail next to the bcm to grab references like these without tapping into the factory harness.

For those of you that didn't wire yourselves, did your installer manage to integrate the running light and high beam circuit on your aftermarket lights with your factory controls or are your lights entirely controlled from the aux switches?

Ran mine strictly off of aux switches- seemed easier and cleaner than trying to tap into another circuit or wire.

Aux switches are already relayed and fused...just connect to the pink wires.

I understand the aux switch circuits, I was just hoping I could find the running light circuit to have the amber markers come on with the rest of the vehicle running lights, and I was debating on the high beam circuit to have the pods come on with the factory high beams rather than having to switch multiple circuits individually (i.e. turn the vehicle running lights on and then command aux switch no. x for pod running lights, flip the brights on via the multifuction stalk switch, then flip the pod brights on via the aux x.) I certainly do not want to tap into the harness but was digging into to a splitter harness off of one of the headlights to give me a clean references.

There is a thread on all this somewhere, hit the search function.

Confirmed headlights are all canbus, going to try and figure out if I can at least grab running lamp reference off of the trailer tow running lamp circuit.

I did find some other threads attempting to power the hood running lights off of fuse taps and random connectors with no success.

Haven't played with the high beam as a trigger yet. If it is CANBUS Triple-R makes an interface https://www.triple-r-lights.com/canny-can-interface-direct-cont.html

I have used the oe high beam as a trigger on the ol' ladies jeep and the factory fog light as another trigger for some nacho quatro's and it is super slick. Top led's come on with high beam and the bottoms come on with fog light switch.

I have used a wire tap on the harness coming off of the hood marker lights on the passenger side with success for the DRL function. That way whenever the factory running lights are on so are the aux light DRL's, no switch required. Then you could use aux 1 switch for your high's on the LP6's and 2 for the lows.

this looks awesome! @DBallz is there forum member pricing? I'd love to get this.

I have some lights on the shelf that measure 7.7” from the base of the mounts to the top of the light. Will these fit or is 7.0” max?

What light is it? I made a running change and added more clearance on this last batch but I would like to know what light you are specifically speaking about so I can look at it.

We need space for a 9" bro...is it possible?

Auxbeam Ray-L 7”. I can’t remember where I got them. They were either for my Pro-R Rzr or tractor but never used. They look pretty well built but I don’t know anything about that brand. Country of origin is China I am guessing.

It's going to be super close out of the box. Should be able to make it work even if it "kisses" the tank. Slotting the hole on the tank should probably do it. We're talking like .125". You could see if you can just use one bolt on the light mount and lower it too.,

anything is possible... Do I want to redesign the existing tank? Not really... There's a ton of time invested in the current design already.

Also there are fitment issues with the grille design.

@DBallz, WIll the lights placed in the TRX slot absolutely not work on the RHO? I got 7in Auxbeams and they appear too wide for the RHO slot. I was trying to install last night and ran into that problem.

And PSA if you have fat hands (like I do) the driver side light bracket is gonna be a PITA to unscrew and bolt on :cautious:
