Recent Software Updates and Experience

Ever since the update my "shortcuts" seem to be acting up. Sometimes they just don't do anything at all in which case I have to do a soft reset of Uconnect system. Other times, I'll click on my "360 view shortcut" and it just goes to the camera selection page rather than just bringing up the 360 view.
Also, still having a problem where my surround sound option keeps reverting to "off" after each startup. I may just end up doing an all out hard reset on Uconnect and see what that does.

I'm curious if anyone has recently (Dec. 2025 or after) taken their RHO in and received the latest software updates? I was scheduled to take my truck in today to have 3 software updates, plus the Purge Valve Disconnect recall installed. They didn't have the Purge Valve Disconnect available, so I'm waiting to have it all done at once.

I saw @eltaco recent post about the Digital Cluster Software Recall and the issues he's having. Has anyone else had similar issues?

I've been one of the fortunate ones to have had very few issues with my truck, and I'm nervous these updates may change that luck. If I hear of some success stories with these updates, I'll feel better getting them done. If I don't hear any success stories, I'll probably hold off.

I've decided to wait also. I just don't want to create a problem where there isn't one.

unthinkable became reality not sure why such a difference, but after all updates last month MPG improved so much.. from 11.6 to 15 !!!

Anyone have this happen yet? School Zone/ Work Zone speed limit cards on the cluster seem to shuffle through them all when you enter a zone but then don’t display anything. Seems to be broken.

I've been asking this question for the last 6 years. They won't.

I think Ram has the worst software people in maybe the entire industry lately. Uconnect looks sexy, but it works like absolute shit. Every other vehicle I've owned, the infotainment has always just worked. In this truck, everything is fucked up.

The system in my 2022 Rebel as basically identical, but had no issues and was lighting fast.

I have my theories as to why, but I won't even bother bringing it up.

Sorta frustrating. I have had an f150 and Tundra both have full screen Android auto. Seeing this crap brings me back 5+ years

exactly like my rig with Windows 10.. had some issues at first but now it runs great, fixed itself.. it should be running in our cars too !
