RHO Resale/Trade in Value

Carvana has my estimate at $67k right now on a similar build. I was able to beat Carvana on a trade in offer for my last truck, but it’s a good baseline.

I’m with you, though. My truck was $86k sticker, so that shows $20k depreciation in less than a year. Even further, a 2026 of the same build is now $89k sticker.

Unpopular opinion around here, but IMO, every RHO owner telling the entire world to go to high volume dealers to save $10k+ isn’t doing resale any favors. It used to be that you could work hard for a good deal and in turn limit your initial depreciation… now the “good deal” is so popular it’s created the baseline.
This last paragraph is the answer.

If you paid sticker or god forbid over, you are losing a lot as a good number or people got $10k or so off of sticker. Raptors hold resale value better because its rare you will get any sort of discount, dealers sell them at msrp

There is a 2025 Rho lvl 1 with 7800 miles going for 77k near me...So you are getting low balled very hard.

The 5 month wait for your my26 has a price

Another good place to check is Givemethevin.com - I've used them a few times in the past and they were really close to private party pricing.

Hey guys. Soo dont hate on me. I am trying to trade in or sell my 25 LV1 Rho and im getting really low balled on my offers. Vehicle is in pristine condition either 5700 miles, dual panorama , red accents , lvl 1. Car Gurus and True car are both in low 60s WTF . Does this truck really depreciate that much?
I’ve heard auction values for used 2025 RHOs are in the low 70s, meaning the lowball offers will generate a profit for the dealer whether they sell it to a retail buyer or have to take it to auction. Makes business sense for them since the car market sucks right now. Depending on what you’re trying to get into you can do better by finding a cash buyer or trading it in for a CDJR product.

Yea i might try carvana or carmax. I had an offer on cargurus for 59k . Just insane….. honestly thats downright depressing. I know that CDJR will probably give me the best trade in , but i dont want another. As I stated earlier, I would like to get into a 2026 BMW M3. Midlife crisis what can i say.!! Lmao

Wow, for many of us the RHO is the mid-life crisis vehicle!

This is correct for the market. I just bought a used 2025 RHO with less than 300 miles - practically new, for 18.6% off original MSRP. Here's a snapshot of my independent market research as of 11/24/2025 for L1, Bed Utility Package, and Panoramic Sunroof:

I would assume that depreciation is fairly typical of most cars, especially expensive luxury/niche vehicles. Based on this information from Kelly Blue Book (below), those asking prices for RHOs 1-year old or less seem in-line with the averages, especially given the weakness in the new and used car markets today.

Depreciation risk is the reason I leased mine, to put the risk of depreciation on the bank. If I want to keep the truck after three years, I'll refinance it and apply any lease equity. If it's underwater, I'll make a market offer or hand back the keys. Good luck on your M3 quest - it's certainly a fantastic road racer!

The negative Nancies would say, the higher the discount, the more dash lights.

carmax offered me 61K and my local dealer offered to buy it for 63k. I have LVL 0 with 8k miles I don't think it was too bad since I paid 67k for it brand new they also told me they would give me around 65k for it if I were to do a trade in. I'm keeping it though not sure what I would get instead I love this truck.
