RHO Resale/Trade in Value

I’d have a hard time deciding if I was getting another one or going back to a 2500. An all black or a canyon lake would be nice.
All black is nice unless you’re anal. Then it looks great for about 10 minutes. My Merc looks great clean but after a day or so I hate jt 🤣

Man dont get me wrong I love my truck in every way shape and form, except finding parking. But i dont know i miss the sport car fell and shifting gears. Call it a mid life crisis like I said. Might just get a used g87 , keep the truck.
Buy one of these :)

Because it’s no longer “the ultimate driving machine”. It’s a tech heavy, fast, but poor driving and handing, futuristic car that has zero appeal to me. It sacrifices the soul and rawness that an M car should have. And BMW puts the M badge on everything to where it has completely lost the meaning it once had.

To each their own and it’s great for you if you like it. :)

Even though the current generation M2 looks like someone designed the front without talking to whoever designed the rear that’s a much more appealing car to me due to it’s size being more what an M3/M4 should be.

However, all of the young Gen Z kids love the G80, and that’s BMW use future market. So they’re obviously doing something right. As a millennial who was very into cars my whole life the E46, E90, and F80 are all much more desirable to me personally as well.
I’ve never heard someone describe the M2 that way, but I’ve never heard anything more accurate. Lol

I’m glad you like it, I am just playing around because many of us who were enthusiasts of BMW in the E46 days can’t stomach the G80. ;)
100% agree with you....The E36 and E46 are two grail cars of mine. God willing one day they will also be part of the collection as well.

Maybe you guys can start a BMW thread elsewhere and go hug each other over there so we can continue discussing RHO resale….
Besides the B58 ain’t got nothing on the TT Hurricane. ;)

Well so Carvana first offered me 61, now just got an email saying price went up to 67 . Tried carmax and they offered me 63. On a good note, the BMW dealership im working with offered me 70 for the trade. Now the problem is the G8* insurance is ridiculous!! Almost 2500 more a year .. lord!! Think i might just keep this thing put a cat 6 on it and get me a 21 VA STI and daily it. I know big change. Kinda hard to sell it to the change to the wife for a smaller car, when you have 3 kids . Good thing she has a 25 Grand Cherokee L 😬😬😅

How y'all buying RHOs, waiting 5 months for them, keeping a week and trading for BMWs!?? 🤦🏻‍♂️

Probably dudes that realized that after they brought their RHO home, it wouldn’t fit into their garage and just can’t bear the thought of parking it outside.

I personally sold it for quite a few different reasons, none of which really add much to the discussion here. Just wanted to share my experience with selling it so anyone else wanting to do so can reference it. Was hard for me as there wasn’t many resources for me to consult when I sold. I got roughly 72k on a 84k sticker truck, but of course it didn’t hurt as bad for me as I got the truck under sticker nearly 10k.

That's about as good as you can expect to do, well done!

I guess if you paid MSRP for those trucks it is a decent deal but who pays MSRP?

I can reassure you the G80 M3 is one of the best vehicles for the money!!! I love my RHO as my daily and plan on upgrading it to the TRX when it comes out next year....but my wife and I are huge BMW enthusiasts. Wife drives and X7 M60 and loves it...My weekend warrior is a 25 dravit grey M3 manual and every weekend when I get in it....The joy is insurmountable!
Right on! Had the G80 M3 XD after selling Porsche TTS and really enjoyed it!!! Very reliable and fast...11.20s 1/4 mile and nice looking. Sold it after a year only to purchase a C8 HTC. Yes, I am a car nut. Can't go wrong with the G80. Btw, they do depreciate a bit the first year. Buying one preowned may be financially advantageous.
