Sad, just sad…

Not only is that a false statement, it’s an ignorant one. Many of us don’t tout about our flawless trucks because they’re awesome and it’s not necessary. The overwhelming majority of issues are all related to bad batteries or battery drain. I have a ‘25 wagoneer and a ‘25 RHO both with over 8k miles and neither have had any of those issues and both are known to have them. I contribute that to a $40 purchase that I use and that’s a Faraday box that hangs on my wall and we put our keys in the box when we come home. When I open the box I can see both vehicles “wake up”.
The benefit of the vehicle being alert exceeds the con of needing a $10 box to block the fob from talking to the truck, and yes that includes the spare. If your keys can unlock the vehicle from where you
Keep them they keep the truck awake and drain the battery and lead to all of the weird gremlins… mostly.
I don't disagree with your post.

BUT

We shouldn't have to buy a faraday box to keep keys in. There is no reason the vehicle should ever be "awake" when the key isn't right next to it or inside the cab. For me to walk in my house and hang my key up a rack only to wonder whether or not it's going to start the next time I go get in it is a bit ridiculous. It's a issue Stellantis needs to correct

Come to think of it, I really haven’t read much of anything about battery failures recently. I mean, when I ordered my truck in January it seemed like an every day occurrence to read about battery failures… and I just don’t see it come up much any longer. Has it been quietly corrected?

I just rolled past 8k miles. No faraday box, and no battery issues so far.

New here?

Mines a daily driver. Use it for groceries, driving the kids around, and for hauling construction items for work.
It’s been 100% flawless.
Then again, I had multiple range rovers and a McLaren that never gave me one issue. These Brit cars have reputations to be problematic.
The “bulletproof” Porsche 911 turbo I owned had a big coolant leak on the other hand.
My wife’s Mercedes AMG suv transmission went bad.
My brother’s Escalade has a recall for the motor which requires a complete motor replacement.
So maybe it’s just the luck of the draw? All I can say is my RHO and the 4 or so previous Ram 1500’s I’ve owned have all been excellent. Every male in my family owns a Ram and it’s for a good reason.

Nice try. Every single RHO has significant issues.
No issues so far except the batteries needing recharged after it sitting for a little over a week. Got them charged back up and got a sleeve thing to put the key fobs in and no issues since. The service center told me that having proximity locks with the key fobs being to close to the RHO the systems are always on draining the batteries.

That solved my battery issues with my RHO. I now have noticed a wind noise coming from the front doors. I took it in and they replaced the door seals. I still have the issue. Anyone have the same issue? By the way it’s a great pickup and the only thing I have against it is the exhaust . It needs to be louder I my opinion.

the faraday box is not just to keep keys in so truck does not wake up

watch the video.
everyone should have a faraday box/pouch unless you have IGLA alarm

I hear what you are saying but a recall that is fixed over wifi or at next routine oil change or in and out in a day is entirely different that whats happening with many RHO trucks.
I've had 5 new F150 over last 15 years or so. Total time in the shop overnight 1 day.And that was only because new part had to be delivered overnight
I can’t say the same. I had a 2024 Ford F150 Raptor V6. Out of 11 months of ownership, it spent almost 5 weeks sitting on the dealership lot while they were trying to diagnose electronic gremlins. I had 3 separate service appointments that were less than a day for electronic issues. During one appointment the service advisor insisted that driving it 7 days a week would solve the issue. I traded it for the RHO and have not been disappointed.

I have posted several times about the use of a Faraday device (I use a pouch) on this forum and how I am certain it is what has alleviated battery problems.

Replaced today both batteries for the third time in 6 months.

Have they identified the draw? Or even checked? Hard to think that youve had 3 sets of bad batteries. I feek like you'll be back for a fourth.

No check was done to identify the problem. He said I was not driving enough and the Mopar batteries are giving a lot of issues. Now I’m looking for a battery charger. Something on solar.

TRDJon had an issue with his RHO's doors and wind noise. You can find a video on his You Tube channel. Not sure, but I think his dealer fixed it.

Unless he released a newer video, they replaced all door seals but still could hear it.

or just go to a local autozone and buy your own!
I was thinking about that. But are there any implication regarding warranty if I install my own battery?

They obviously wouldn't cover any future battery replacement under warranty but as long as it has the same ratings, etc. no it shouldn't affect your factory warranty at all.
