I need to formally retract my previous statement. I went back to the Mopar booth, and this time I had the opportunity to speak directly with the three main guys responsible for developing our trucks through the Direct Connection program. They had some excellent news!
According to them, Stage 2 and Stage 3 performance upgrades are expected to be released within the next six months. I'm also assuming these packages will include ECU tuning, considering they specifically mentioned that turbo upgrades are part of these upgrade packages.
They also explained that the modifications and performance data from all four competitors involved in the Charger Grudge Match were used to help develop these upgrades.
And to be clear, this isn't second- or thirdhand information. I spoke directly with the people responsible for developing these packages. This information is coming straight from the source.
Needless to say, this is extremely encouraging news for those of us who have been waiting for meaningful performance upgrades for our trucks! They also said they plan to start working on suspension packages but wanted to get the power upgrades out first. They basically said everything got pushed back when the previous CEO retook the reigns and focused everything on bringing the Hemi back to market.
